How to donate for Kashmiri refugees displaced from iok settled in Neelum Valley or ajk

Bhai i agree but if u look at few things then sufferings in various parts of pakistan is also a result of pakistanis apathy towards their own pakistani brothers in many areas.

And i wrote that remark cause when istarted that thread for over several hours no one even bothered replying here despite the fact that pakistan benefits from kashmirs water and we must respect gb,ajk and iok kashmiris for sharing their water resources but a thread for arab palestinian or any other donations would instantly attract altruistic pakistanis. Why such apathy towards our own people. For last two years ihave asked numerous ppl who could help how to donate at some charity org which would for sure help refugees i never got a strong reply. Plus i dont trust jud nor wanna donate to them.

Lastly my aim was to bring peoples attention towards people we have hosted but we have easily neglected as our priorities are more set towards outsiders. It was meant go share with ppl who dont know at all about existence of these refugees.

Now just watch some posts down how many personal attacks might come on me or the indifference some ppl will show that they are already doing well they are this and that.

I don't think we need to donate anything to Kashmiris.. there are many relatives we find in our own families who are living in poor conditions.. so lets start from there..

They are refugees from iok and pakistan is using their water resources. Obviously after helping out ur relatives i one has more to donate then why not these people? These people in iok dont get compensated for their water resources used by both pakistan and india so when their refugees are settled in neelum or ajk why cant pakistanis spare some bucks for them when they have enough to donate? Why they dont deserve preferences? Or we should just dont use their water at all?

But then we should give to neighbors, after that, we should give to people living in our area, then our city, then province, and then Kashmiris..

Let wealthy Kashmiris take care of their relatives..

For water usage, we pay water charges.. so government should give this money to Kashmiris.. isn't it?

Which wealthy relatives? These people have no relatives in pakistan they crossed in after hike in indian atrocities against them and tens and thousands are living in refugee camps sort of set ups. From where wealthy relatives will come?

You dont want to donate for them dont. Plus if kashmiris block their water to pakistan, pakistanis shouldnt also complain either. I hope in that scenario donations sent to outsiders will be better used in setting up local expensive desalination plants.

U pay charges to gov but iok kashmiris whose rivers water is used dont get compensated enough neither by pakistan nor india. Whilst their water is used to generate electricity in northern india and pakistan valley kashmiris spend 12 hours in loadshedding and electricity shortages.

Also if u want to know local ajk peoples views then watch wajahat ka mahaz part 3 u will get somewhat clear picture of water.

Lolz..

It was sarcasm man.. you didn't get it..

The thing I wanted to highlight is that, when it comes to charity (specially Zakat) pay anyone you think is more deserving.. whether it's your relatives, or people living in the same city, country etc.. But we shouldn't discourage others paying charity to people in distant parts of the world, for example, Rohingya, Syria, Yemenis, Palestinians etc..

I would personally prefer dividing my charity among many... such as, Edhi, Cheepa, Kashmiris, Afghanis, Rohingiyas, Syrians and others.. whether the amount becomes USD 100 dollars after dividing..

Firstly, this thread has nothing to do with syria donation thread so please dont look at it that light.

Guys i have often heard that ajk hosts valley kashmiri refugees who flowed in from across the loc during high indian atrocity periods , i have read numerous times that these refugees living in refugee camps are not availing many basic human necessities and live in impoverished state. I have also come across info that pakistan on many ocassions turned down accepting kashmiri refugees due to unwanted parasite Afghan refugees.

Many ocassions i have wanted to directly donate for these kashmiris and also for ajk kashmiris from poor areas in neelum valley who often suffer baldy from indian shelling like mentioned in this below link. https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/how-...ured-ceasefire-at-the-line-of-control.505805/ but i dont know the method.

Is there some specific charity that can help ? Or?

These guys are good and UK government registered i.e. all accounts shown, money details etc.

You can visit their camps in nellum valley or AJK and give your money to deserving people or else there are many charity who are working for this cause

but its strange that some member realized about IDPs and another realised about kahsmir when topic help for Syrian started. Is there some competition going on about where donation should go ?

No actually since last year i was looking to ask people here, and each time i thought who to ask so when i saw other discussions i opened this too. Plus i had also noticed that many people werent aware of these refugees and their poverty, and even the locals of that areas.

Anyways, actually i want to plan a visit to those camps , I personally want to meet and interview them too about experiences they had on other side of the border cause amongst many refugees there are women who were raped by indians and there are men who are amputated due to excessive indian torture. But i will have to get some locals help , i have no clue where to locate the camps tho i saw one mini news report where they were showing some newbuilt camp units or housing units (not sure ) for the refugees.

But anyways thanks for links.

Oh no iwasnt discouraging from donating anyone. none of my posts were directed at you. Plus i had felt not many of us know about kashmiri refugees which i feel have much bigger right on me compared to palestinians or others also that they dont respect us either, no matter how nice we turn. But then thats my pov u are free to see it ur way. Also iwould NEVER stop anyone from donating for anyone but would want to bring attention towards other groups liivng within our country whether relatives or city/province fellows.

No, I wasn't talking about you bro.. There are some people here on the forum who don't give anything to any deserving in charity.
