How Pakistan is being Gang Raped by: Politicians, Prostitutes and Terrorist Financing......

You forgot to mention our self proclaimed holy and all powerful institutions whose policies in Afghanistan has caused deaths of millions of people, weaponization and drugs in Pakistan and settlement of millions of refugees permanently in Pakistan
I was about to post the same comment.

Soviet Russia disintegrated only a few years after they left Afghanistan.

So, even if the Soviets conquered Afghanistan, there would not have been any significant influence. Even if that happened, what is it to you ?

If Soviets had Afghanistan, they'd continue their policy of supporting secessionists in Pakistan. They'd be able to exploit the porous border between Afghanistan and Pakistan by sending their own trained militants and separatist fighters. The Soviets were instrumental in supporting separatists in East Pakistan and their support for those who called for the formation of Pashtunistan is also well known.

Soviets were is Afghanistan to continue there influence there. the Nur Mohammad govt. was pro-Soviet.

US played it's part and portrayed it as a Muslim issue and the Mujahideen were compared with the 'founding fathers of America'.
Pakistan just tried to increase it's influence over Afghanistan and got played into the game.
If the Soviets disliked Pakistan they had every right to do so. It is not just about Pakistan doing the bidding for US. Back in 1960, the Soviets shot down a US U2- spy plane. It didn't take long to find out the plane took off from an airbase in Peshawar. If you are aware of the history, then you will know, communists take spying and illegal intrusion very seriously, more than any democracy.

So far as the Separatists in East Pakistan are concerned, don't try to fool others, at best you will be able to fool yourself. It was the first democratic election in Pakistan, back in 1971 and they Bengali people were denied of their rights. The Bengali were the majority in Pakistan and they were denied their place in democracy by a minority, Pakistani Punjab to be specific.
Read the Hamoodur Rahman Commission report. You have no rights to complain about 'separatism' in East Pakistan. In fact those who supported the Mukti Bahini are considered as proponents of humanity and sanity in this World today, for what they did helped in stopping a genocide that was already happening. Not even a single government in the World, not even the Pakistani government declares them as terrorists.

check about other Central Asian states.
Can you be a little more specific please ?

And under Soviet influence, Afghanistan invaded us twice and intensified the Pashtunistan issue. Thankfully, the problem subsided in the 1960s, but that didn't mean we were still under threat. By the 1970s, we had already lost East Pakistan, and were incredibly demoralized. Afghanistan entering Soviet hands would be capable of dealing a deadly blow.

I don't deny that the Pakistani administration played a role in what happened in 1971, but armed leftist-leaning separatist armies don't appear magically, no matter the circumstances. Especially during the '70s when the Soviet Union was at its peak.

Go through that thread kid and if haven't allowed them then there would all have been killed and rest who survived would have been speaking Russian and using vodka.
Debunking Afghan Myths and Lies
hmmm... so we should've supported taliban till 1999... and then they came and killed our children...
we also let madrassas run wild, even till now... hmmm... sorry but there were a lot of things un accounted for, and maybe 71 was also a mars planned conspiracy...

What have prostitutes done ?
lol u seem to have a soft corner for them...

There are some very serious issues raised here, corrupt politicians, police and judiciary are enemy number one of any nation
no! we must respect the police, yes there are problems, yes there are inefficencies but see around yourself and you'll know who is protecting you, your family and property most of the time, it's the police... so don't blame the police rather pressurize the govt. to improve it...

Indus water commissioner allowed India to violate the water treaty and continue with the plan to water bomb Pakistan for over 12 years. India achieved its objective in delaying these projects by spending few billions on these anti state elements and has caused harms of trillions. Why no body stopped them? They were hiding behind ‘democracy’.
Bullsh!t! Pakistanis have this habit of blaming India for everything going wrong in Pakistan. The water crises in Pakistan for example is of its own making - gross incompetence in water management as admitted by your own experts.

Blame the 'foreign hand' for all your woes so no one is held accountable. No heads roll. It's an excellent alibi for those adept at misgovernance. That's the real problem.

Okay, I expect you to read fully. I can go into further details then if required.

Pakistan saw an enemy in the Soviets because the Americans wanted to, a classic case of biting off more than one can chew. There was a cold-war going on between Americans and the Soviets, nothing to do with Pakistan, unless Pakistan identified itself as a party. If Pakistan decides to get involved then it should be able to take on the repercussions as well, don't you think ? I'm surprised at your notion that you make an enemy out of somebody and then expect him not to react.

Left-leaning is essentially not a bad thing or something to be looked down upon. If the idea is mandated by the people, then who are we to say any different ?

Those were the times of a great power struggle between the two great powers of the World. Back in those days, if you sent a post card to the American Information Centre in Delhi or Kolkata, they would send you a whole box of material describing US, its society, culture and achievements, with beautiful pictures. Specially the NASA pictures were nice. You send a post card to the Soviet Office and they would do the same thing. My father had them both. There were books of Soviet publications, Vostok, Mir, all available in wide circulation, translated not only into English, but Hindi and Bengali as well. The Americans did the same thing. Now what is this ? This is their propaganda machinery at work.

Everybody wanted to increase their sphere of influence and well within their rights to do so, both Soviets and Americans. You, my friend, have to understand one thing here, there cannot be a propagation of an ideology or influence, without active support from people on the ground.

There was active supporter of Communism in East Pakistan, yes. The question that needs to be asked is do you perceive it as a bad thing ? If yes, then why ? If you know why, then whose responsibility it is to do something about it ? We also have maoist rebels in our country. Do we complain to China about it ? It's the Chinese ideology and we don't expect the whole World to see things through our eyes. Best we can do is deal with it internally.
Stop blaming others for your own problems.

Pinning the blame on somebody doesn't solve the problem, it just creates an enemy out of an adversary.

East Pakistan broke away more due to internal conflicts than for anything else. If their issues had been addressed properly then it would not have happened. At that time, about 53 % of the Pakistani population was Bengali, so they were the majority ethnic race. They decided to ditch the decision that was taken 24 years back and create an identity based on linguistic characteristics, rather than religion. Incidentally, the day Bangladesh was created, that was the day the 'Two Nation Theory' was drowned in Bay of Bengal.

A little offtopic may be, but prostitution happens to be one of the oldest professions of mankind and it may come as
surprising a bit, but there were times, in different civilisations, where prostitution was not looked down upon.

Textbooks in Indian history mention them and not necessarily in a bad way.

Nothing to do with Pakistan? Pakistan was close to experiencing a coup in 1951 at the hands of socialist army officers and politicians.

I'm not blaming you or complaining. I'm defending Pakistan's policy in response to Soviet aggression in our country by highlighting Soviet subversion.

Left-leaning intellectuals were arms of the Soviet Union and were used at every opportunity to further Soviet agenda. When their use was fulfilled, they were dumped in unmarked graves or tortured to death.
Here's an interview of a former KGB-agent, explaining how the Soviet Union perceived leftists.
