Muslims traditionally treated the Jews very well especially during the middle ages when they were being persecuted by the Christians.

Their golden age was during Muslim rule and when the Christians took over Spain the Jews were kicked out due to the Alhambra decree. The Jews decided to go along with the Muslims because they knew they would be treated well.
