sam was known to be crazy & eccentric dude. Most militarymen tend to exaggerate their exploits and think highly of themselves, and sam suffered from same disease.I completely agree with you.... They are real minority here........ We are proud of them.....
Who can forget him.....
Sam Manekshaw - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After completing his schooling in Punjab and Sherwood College,Nainital, and achieving a distinction in the School Certificate examination of the Cambridge Board at the age of 15, he asked his father to let him to become a soldier. When his father refused to send him until he was older, in an act of rebellion, Manekshaw took the entrance examination for enrolment into the Indian Military Academy (IMA)[4] at Dehradun. He was successful and as a result became part of the first intake of 40 cadets on 1 October 1932.
This the spirit of a Pasis(FM SM Manekshaw)
You received three at this age; when I was of your age, I received nine bullets and look—today, I am the commander in chief of the Indian Army.” – During the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War when he met an injured soldier in army hospital with three bullet wounds.
Another quote
On the military knowledge of politicians: "I wonder whether those of our political masters who have been put in charge of the defence of the country can distinguish a mortarfrom a motor; a gun from a howitzer; a guerrilla from a gorilla, although a great many resemble the latter." [27]
I agree with you on that point they should allow intermarriages
desi muslims use persian and arabic names. Parsis use persian names.Parsis were Quite Successful community among all Minorities in Pakistan as well. Their names are quite similar to Muslim Names in Pakistan maybe due to Iranian Language Influence but even in Pakistan they are getting Instinct. Unlike Pakistan and India we should also Consider Parsi Population trend in Western Countries as well because their might be some EFFECTS of IMMIGRATION in that as well.
Of course Persian names that Parsi use and Muslim use are Definitely be similar so that means Parsis still retain their Connection to their Native Iranian Language.desi muslims use persian and arabic names. Parsis use persian names.

1. by "inflicts difficulties" i meant the obsession of buddhists with ritualism, prayer and meditation which things are useless really and the meditator is not being contributing to society.
2. what deep solutions has buddhism for economic injustice, for example??
3. what do you mean by it being "a way of life"??
Because Buddhism is guide to life, Not a religion per se.. There are no rules, no divine retribution, no hell or heaven, It's all on the individual, It's the most humanist philosophy in the world
And i cant dwell on the intricacies of Buddhism that goes in to every sphere of life because it's such a deep, thourough philosophy, But it's best if you post things where you have more knowledge about, Without making general assumptions
i don't question buddha himself but his followers, especially the new-age ones.
please don't be patronizing and kindly answer to my points 1 and 2.
Brahmins has been doing just this all over India. The only difference is they have married low caste women over the years to keep their population going. Parsis on the other hand seem to have stopped marrying Indian women. But obvious indian features among them mean they once did allow marriage with Indian women.
