On the civilian level: Used to be very good, now still good, but less as good. Due to Chinese islamic terrorist attacks and European refugee crisis which made some people unconsciously think the religion has something to do terrorism. This makes no sense but just like how people who have seen a few fat Americans would think all Americans are fat, it is unavoidable. Hopefully after the recent wave of terrorism quiets down and people will have a chance to rethink their presumptions.

I forgot to add, it just some people. But they are also the loudest. They think all Islamic people are on some evil scheme to convert the entire world to their religion. It's absurd and absolutely ridiculous, they are just using the recent surge in terrorism to spread their propaganda.
Most people are neutral to friendly to the nation of Pakistan and celebrates the great relations between two neighboring countries.

I have been to China and was given respect. Any Tom and Dick and Harry can open a account and write malicious words. Since I have traveled to Dalian, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Dangdong and Kunming I know how much the Chinese people appreciate Pakistan. During my time in University this was also highlighted.

All of above is Murika propaganda.

1. Pakistan never back any terrorism action in China, neither Pakistani national act terrorism in China.
2. China never back any terrorism or rebel in Pakistan.
3. I think less and less Chinese and Pakistanis could be fooled by American medias any more, as for me, for years I have not read any of their news.
4. Following the more close economic and personal communication, people travel to and fro, not only govenment level, but also people will know each other better. I can't guanrantee 100% persons from both nations are good persons or like each other, nobody can guarantee that. We should allow the exist of some disregard, but try every effort to respect.

There isn't much exchange between Chinese and Pakistanis yet we know our interests usually never collide. That's why no matter which government Pakistan had, China has always kept good relations with Pakistan. Also China never interferes in internal affairs of Pakistan unlike the USA.

I've never been to Islamabad, the only Chinese i Knew was my dentist in Karachi who had settled in Pakistan decades ago.

That's a lot more then I thought. When Karachi was safe it had a lot of nationalities, used to have a very vibrant Iranian business community. Most of them left after sectarian strife in Karachi during late 80s and 90s.
