Victims on all side were recognised by their religion. Muslims killed Hindus because they were Hindus, Sikhs and Hindus killed Muslims because they were recognised as Muslims.

Some Indians were saying Muslims believe their religion is superior to other, while I claim all religions claim their religion is superior to others. Many Hindus also belief Hindus philosophy is the way to truth and light.

My dad worked in Middle east for 10 years in construction business, Hindu workers would never even eat from same plate as Muslims or even use the same cutlery. Don't be fooled by their so called liberalism. My own ancestors lived with Hindus before the foundation of Pakistan. Some Hindus considered Muslims as unclean and savages. On the outside they will smile but would never even eat food cooked by a Muslim. The same neighbours then killed and raped their Muslim neighbours during the partition of India.

I eat at Pakistani restaurants as many of my other Hindu friends do as well.. I never heard in my life anyone telling to not eat/drink from others on religious grounds, they did taught me the same on hygenic grounds though!! No one even in Hindu funded schools teaches the bigotry you are talking about. Btw, most of the Hindu workers in middle east are from Kerala and as far as i know, most of them eat all kinds of meats. Some of them may be vegetarians but their reason for not eating from others plate may be simply because you happen yo be eating meat in it not because of your religion. Don't equate it with the Pakistani bigotry that is mentioned in the OP.

This is the Jewish way to evade giving real answers. Jewish theology makes absolutely no sense. Because they aren't what they purport themselves to be. They have modified their whole religion to satisfy their supremacist urges.

That's it, isn't it? It all boils down to this: a Muslim need not have a conscience, whatever he can get away with is good. The rest are either minor matters or outright deceptions.

Ahmed Shahzad was wrong on this. He either meant "whatever you USED TO DO in your life , you still go to heaven" or has no Idea about Islam.
There's no rule in Islam that says converts have any special priviledges. Neither do Muslims. Anything that is considered wrong for normal Muslims is considered wrong for converts. Anything that causes harm to someone else is forbidden in Islam (unless under special circumstances, like a war)

I don't see how Ahmed Shahzad is showing religious intolerance. If its the "fire" part, every religion says that unbelievers will be punished. The two players were talking about religion, so Ahmed talked about his religion and told the other guy that "according to my religion, if you don't believe, you will be punished with fire". He didn't scream "go to hell hindu" or anything.

And people seem to be forgetting that PCB actually took this problem seriously, which is a good thing. Doesn't that show that the PCB doesn't want its players to be religiously intolerant? So that means that intolerance is against the rules. That means, tolerance is promoted.

People nowadays just need a reason to bash Islam, If anything its you "tolerant" people who are intolerant.

Sir, because two wrongs don't make a right. You and I have had this discussion at depth and yes there is intolerance in Pakistan but show me one country where a fringe of the majority don't use the "stranger" as an excuse for all the ills of their society? It's ingrained in human nature, years of evolution from the period of the "Home erectus", a self preservation mechanism if you will.

That being said, murder based on the basis of being "different" or having a differing opinion, deity, culture, belief and value system is abhorrent and all Pakistanis who are just and honest and in control of their faculties agree with this viewpoint. The problem is, just like you have Neo Nazis, the Christian right and the JDL.

All of these groups have one things in common, they exploit the use of faith and neo-nationalism to marginalize and polarize the "outsider" or the "other guy" and this is a very complex issue in your own country Solomon2.
