Stop slouching! Pins prod into the neck of this paramilitary policeman

Attention! Crosses are fixed to the backs of People's Armed Police officers

Crosses to bear: Paramilitary officers are given extra help to keep their backs straight

Pins to keep the head high!! I have never seen something like this! Very interesting, probably possible only in a communist or dictatorial country.

i doubt they have to do this all the time. it's all mental.

Chinese soldiers with crosses , for a second I thought it was Taiping rebellion v2

Pins in their collar is no secret...but crosses in their back is something I have heard for the first time. Man...kinda discipline & supreme physical condition one would need to sustain that kind of torture! Bravo...

Part of postural training, nothing worse then what goes on in boot camps, maybe one needs to think of it as training of military which is never pleasant

It is for parade formation training. It is actually quite similar to march band training. Those super-organized looking formations you saw at Moscow took a lot of training.

The pin and cross are training tools to make sure you are stand at the right pose.

Any other country follows such methods?

Nothing strange,we have different military culture with other countries and we have trained soliders like this for decades.
