How Capitalism saved the space race

. . .
There are a few start ups aren't there? Not sure what your point is

Most of those start-ups are related to computer-based retail sector which is nothing fundamental, radical, revolutionary. Let me quote a number. There are 200,000+ computer science graduates who flood out of Indian engineering colleges every year, yet there is not a single Indian computer operating system or an Indian microprocessor. These two things are the most important items in any computer.

SpaceX's achievements are not simply because of capitalism but because of Elon Musk's ambition, drive and ability to simplify; then the people who agreed to join him before the Falcon 1 rocket flew; the lucky support he got from government departments like the air force; but of course he was willing to invest his money in his ambitious ideas. The Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani is a lot richer than Elon Musk ( capitalism ) but where is Ambani's SpaceX ?

What capitalism has done is destroy this planet, ravaged it's resources and put the 0.1% elite permanent hegemons over the rest of humanity. Capitalism is the song that mindless buffoons sing, because these retards have no other time to play. Capitalism was the median used by zionists to wrest full control and ownership over the western world. Capitalism is the disease that seduces it's victims like a bunch of suckered turkeys, traps, grips and then suffocates it's victims (the poor) like an anaconda.

So spare me your over glorified rants about capitalism saving the space race. When capitalism is solely responsible for astronomical poverty around the world and the only reason for the enormous gap between the rich 1% and the poor 95%. Then all capitalism news is worth a spit-shine on my Pekhawari Sandles.

.
space exploration has very little effect in improvement of life of common people,it is only for rich people who want to maintain power and cause terror among other poor and weak countries, what space exploration has contributed in health, food security and improvement of living standard of people so far, except satellite technology used for communication it has contributed very less to human benefit.Humans not seem to settle in other planet considering their inability to properly live in peaceful manner on earth where achieving good living standard is much cheaper as compared to space which is much expensive as evident from the conditions of countries involved in space race these days

That's literally part philosophy of capitalism, so as competition...they're earning a lot and will earn a lot from space exploration in the long term compared to other competitors on the market, it also involves status, dominance, legacy and it goes on and on...the soviet union made it's achievement due to it's competitive drive for dominance

; the lucky support he got from government departments like the air force;

Nothing indispensable for the long run

The Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani is a lot richer than Elon Musk ( capitalism ) but where is Ambani's SpaceX ?

still i'm not sure what's your point for india, there's a huge competitive market out there for space exploration...that's up to Ambani to choose what he wanna do, probably he will? who knows, while out there we already have different companies cooperating and competing...it all boils down to incentive.

I take care of a business what whatever i have is through hardwork and by the blessings of Allah, mindless buffoons are losers like you who spend their time writing paragraphs being jealous of Jews and rich people lol... man up, your real wealth is your dignity whether you're poor or not you clearly lack it

lol and from what you're typing this? your phone? your laptop? Thank capitalism and competition for that low iq dumbo...btw didn't Imran Hossein teach you that capitalism (controlled) is part of Islamic economics? of course not, low iq cry babies like you only cares about is whining about jews and conspiracy theories, you're 41 acting like a teenager on the internet, i'm probably around your son's age and now i have to teach you basic stuff...:disagree:

Not only due to that drive but also an understanding that probably anything could be achieved in the Soviet Union. It being socialist didn't prevent it from making achievements. Just day before yesterday I was talking to an Indian member about a planned Soviet manned flyby Mars-Venus mission called TMK and even a manned landing Mars mission called KK :
In 1966, a final version of the TMK studies was known as KK - Space Complex for Delivering a Piloted Expedition to Mars. Nuclear electric propulsion was to be used for the 630-day mission. The craft structure consisted of:
  • EK - Expeditionary spacecraft: command center for piloting in interplanetary space
  • OK - Orbital Complex: living and work compartments and the life support systems
  • SA - The Landing Module, AV - The Ascent Module and RV - The Ascent Rocket stage
  • PS - The Planetary Station: used by the expedition on the Martian surface for life support and scientific research
The launch was planned for 1980, with a crew of three cosmonauts. Mars stay duration would be 30 days.

Mission data:
  • Total Payload Required in Low Earth Orbit-metric tons: 150
  • Total Propellant Required-metric tons: 24
  • Number of Launches Required to Assemble Payload in Low Earth Orbit: 2
  • Launch Vehicle: N1

btw didn't Imran Hossein teach you that capitalism (controlled) is part of Islamic economics?

I will answer for @Nasr. He can add his points. Islamic economics calls for a welfare state society. So do all modern socialist societies. All these are experiments which we should learn from and develop. Things like housing, health, education, water, electricity, basic food, transport by mass public transit and even internet are basic human rights which should be provided for free by the governing system. Other things like the occasional taxi ( like Uber ), tea and biscuits at a tea house, delicacies at a restaurant etc all can be provided via a credit ratings system like is being implemented in China.

incentive

The incentives for designing an operating system and a microprocessor in India will be two - (a). A strategic affair for the government ( there is something called a India Microprocessor Program of the Government of India ), (b). Intellectual satisfaction.

. .
Lol, who said that?

I.

300,000+ farmers having committed suicide in ten years mostly for socio-economic reasons cannot be resulting from a country of any other type.

Both boils down to competitive incentive

Ik

So do all modern socialist societies.

Most countries ik has welfare programs varying degrees, i live in a capitalist country with heavy welfare policies which i totally believe is needed...basic stuff

We will go too far with this discussion (i do like the credit system btw). My point was Islamic economics as far as i've read from the Sunnah and history has always been a mix of welfare and capitalism with full acknowledgement of societal and economic hierarchies and protection of private ownership...undeniable and irrefutable, you're a socialist i understand your views but pricks like that old man is unknowingly insulting his own religion due to his low IQ thirst for conspiracy theories

Btw just to make sure, i saw that you liked his comment? You don't endorse his insults don't you? I wanna know just to improve my attitude towards people, i've always been very polite with you on this forum so now i have doubts (not from you) that i'm extending this luxury a bit too much towards every people i meet

What about C? Im sure you know what i mean

Hmm.

Most countries ik has welfare programs varying degrees, i live in a capitalist country with heavy welfare policies which i totally believe is needed...basic stuff

OK.

Well, the thread OP is about capitalism after all. :D

i do like the credit system btw

Nice to know that.

My point was Islamic economics as far as i've read from the Sunnah and history has always been a mix of welfare and capitalism with full acknowledgement of societal and economic hierarchies and protection of private ownership...undeniable and irrefutable

But if we take the issue of land ownership, in Islam land and its results ( buildings, gardens etc ) are private and can be willed away to descendants and others in a systematic way. Well and good. But it does not extend to issues like one person having ten large estates and another person having to live in one small house. In India there are 30+ million court cases pending and most are over land ownership. A system that declares land to be public property managed by some land committee will prevent disputes.

Islamic economics are good but they can be enhanced, modernized.

you're a socialist i understand your views but pricks like that old man is unknowingly insulting his own religion due to his low IQ thirst for conspiracy theories

I suppose he was generally being angry with capitalism, though yes he seems not to be aware of, as you indicated, the controlled capitalist-socialist system in Islam, which is why I tagged him to share his points.

Btw just to make sure, i saw that you liked his comment? You don't endorse his insults don't you? I am sorry that I thanked the post without realizing that it would be like indirectly endorsing an insult towards you. I have taken back the thanks.

What about C? Im sure you know what i mean

C language ? Heh heh.

You have a very narrow worldview and redundant arguments

So you are now denying that tragic number by saying that it is repetitive ?

we were socialistic till 1991

Apart from the PDS system for basic food, how ?

and are still classified as a mixed economy.

How ?

I suppose a lot of what Lenin did, Stalin undid. Through as far as I know, Khrushchev brought things back on track.
