How can punjab police avoid harassing Pakistani pakhtuns while registering Afghans?

Punjab government should give strict orders to leave people with valid CNIC alone. If later on CNIC is found to be illegal like its the case for many afghanis then action can be taken. Another thing is this can't go on for decades. Federal government and all other parties need to decided once for all what to do with Afghanis, either give them citizenship based on how many years they have lived in Pakistan or stop extending deadline and repatriatiate them as soon as possible.

I Hve it on good authority that people are harassed for not having possession of Proof of Registration card or a card that is expired or old paper CNIC ( not machine readable) and not POR cards!

No Pakistani citizen with a machine readable card will be bothered!

To kill terrorism you must hunt these Afghans. I don't care what ethnicity they are. Catch them and deport them. They are faciliating and making money from terrorisism and terrorists. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever. Peoples lives are at risk if they are not captured and thrown out. This is about saving lives.

we need to introduce strict biometric systems that are beyond fingerprint sensors. Hell even if someone has a CNIC how do they verify it? Do the police have a mobile fingerprint reader they can use to match ID with citizen carrying it?

We need to have these systems deployed;

Afghans have proved to be a cancer to this society... they curse the same hand that help to shelter and feed them for almost last 3 decades. Message should be clear, either get registered with Nadra or get the hell out of Pakistan.
