How can I get rid of receiving frequent notifications

I am sorry I bother my friends here specially web masters. I opted for not receiving notifications by pushing button to off side but still I receive frequent notifications. I use iphone4. I am grateful in anticipation.

You have to disabled Push notification in the iPhone settings.
