Interesting. A Ring Laser Gyro fitted on Pinaka. It will certainly make it more lethal. I am sure it will go on Nirbhay, Brahmos and Prahar too.

Nirbhay, Brahmos and Prahar have their own systems which do not need this. This will get used in Pinaka and the new Arty Gun Systems that are under the new development program.
I guess not, but you never know.
Trust me, I know........
I see, which of those missiles did you design ?
@SanjeevaniButi tactical and strategic weapons have certain degree of differences based on the autonomy you want to achieve.
There is a reason why captain said it won't be used in nirbhay and brahmos. You need to know the dynamics of it.
I know, that is why I said it can happen since Brahmos and Prahar are both Tactical missiles. Not strategic.
Even Nirbhay is not, but that can be disputed due to its range.
They are not. You need to understand they don't operate on the whims and fancies of marching army. There is a silver lining. Even though they work on theater operations but they work on strategic assets. That makes them theater centric strategic missiles. Both nirbhay and brahmos are more important than our nukes. You need to think again why they won't have a foreign guidance system. Read on harpoon and yakohant.
Are you aware the earlier versions of Brahmos use to rely on GPS ?
Today Brahmos used the G3OM which uses signals from GPS, GLONASS & GAGAN and is still susceptible to foreign control.
It would be more sensible to also put a laser gyro chip that gives them accuracy of 1 meter and I am pretty sure that is what the future holds. Let us see how much of the manufacturing is done by Tata. That would give greater clarity to the whole idea.
