Not only did students enrolled, but some took commission for inviting others. This happened as a once in a lifetime opportunist strike right? The characters caught in this sting would otherwise have never indulged in degree fakery or secondary commission taking?
You're having a laugh mate.
The points based system would in fact attract EU immigrants more because they are way more educated, technically advanced and skilled than indians are.

Ermm, based on what evidence? The point is precisely the contrary of what you stated. These guys probably would have done such a thing had another genuine opportunity at fakery arisen. This is the basis of such sting entrapment operations.the point is that they wouldn't have engaged in such a plot had the US government not set up a fake university with a very credible website

"The rise in Indian students coming to Canadian universities is likely a significant reason that Indian immigration has surged. The number of Indian international students studying at Canadian universities rose from 76,075 in 2016 to 172,625 in 2018, an increase of 127%, according to the Canadian Bureau for International Education. In contrast, at U.S. universities, the number of international students from India enrolled in graduate-level programs in computer science and engineering fell by 21% (18,590 fewer graduate students) from 2016 to 2017."
Not talking about "muslims". I was talking about Indian students, could be Muslim or otherwise.happens with Muslims as well, governments set up sting operations and prey on vulnerable people, people who would otherwise not have commited the offence,
Maybe, but I guess the only way to find out is to wait for few years and see what happensI'm talking about the UK not Australia or Canada. EU immigrants don't go to these places as it is very far. They are more likely to come to the UK as it is closer.

You're starting to sound like a bit of a Hindutva. Wanna be careful there.

Whatever "type" of Pakistani is present, do you honestly believe Indian immigrants and their children will accept you and your interests as compatible with theirs? Perhaps you are genuinely naive in this regard.I am trying to look at this from a non-biased perspective. You seem to be intent on proving Indian immigrants are engaging in wisespread fraud based one one story which requires further investigation, it was a clear case of entrapment.
I personally wouldn't care if the immigration system benefits Indians, the types of Pakistanis coming in leave a lot to be desired as they come in through sham marriages. It would be much better for the Pakistani community if only educated Pakistanis came in.

Without question, the uneducated and gangster Pakistani types that I think you're hinting at are a very easy target for their malevolent intent. However, what makes you think ANY Pakistani is safe from the malevolence of Indian diaspora elements? Our artists, politicians, sportspeople and professionals are targeted openly in Europe and NA by the Modi government simply for their identity as "Pakistani". Why would the Indian citizens who voted Modi into power or the Indian diaspora in Europe feel any different towards any of our professional classes? Look no further than the vitriol directed at Moeen Ali or Sadiq Khan by Indians or Brits of Indian origin to understand the nature of the beast you're apologising for.
What did Modi spout at the howdy Modi event in the USA - which professional Indians lapped up religiously - that even remotely brought any kind of confidence to diaspora professional Pakistanis?
I'm not intent on proving their students are engaged in widespread fraud - that's not a priority. Firstly, simply let me convince Pakistanis in UK that the hindutva leaning Indian communities (which obviously isn't all Indian communities) here have malicious intent towards Pakistan, Pakistanis and the Pakistani diaspora.
"aman ki asha" of our parents' era is well and truly dead.
"Segregated ghetto"? Me? How amusing.Indians in the UK mostly vote Labour as do Sikhs, I personally find Sadiq Khan to be stupid as he also gives Muslims a bad name with his low-IQ 'diversity is our strength' comments which have become a meme in their own right. Most Indians in the West are leftists anyway and are against CAA.
My parents have many Indian friends, perhaps you live in some segregated ghetto where everyone is a Pakistani but that is not the universal case.
