Bengali Muslims are Bengali Muslims whichever side they are from. Same with Assamese Muslims or Rohingya Muslims. We are essentially one race. If a Muslim from Uttar Pradesh had come along it would be different, he isn't son of the soil furthermore, his culture and practices are more inline with 'Urdu culture'.

Even if we ignore the Hindu-Muslim rivalry things, Bengali nation is one of the biggest in the world.It deserves an independent country.Why should we live under the Hindi/Urduwala's rule? Plus consider another thing, if there was no partition, 175 crore people would have been living in a single country. What the heck is this? Then why not create a worldwide gigantic country comprising with all the 750 crore people? For me, medium sized countries are the best.
