Hindus in Bangladesh fast dwindling: Zionist Richard Benkin

.
Maybe you missed the video example I posted. You will see large Hindu camp in annual Atrasi gathering at 1:10. Large number of people are converted this way to Pir mazars.

If Hindus aren't persecuted in BD then why r they getting converted in hordes. Will these Hindus get any social or financial benefits if they become Muslims ?

What about forced conversion? Is it prevalent in our country?

Yes... Theres a reason why i keep crying ISIS has a hold in Bangladesh

No one listens.

Pakistan post 911 had to send many illegal Bangladeshi who were imams as part of the crackdown.

But no one listens.

All i get is labelled as a racist instead. Dont treat this as some well wishing thought for bangladesh or bangladeshis.

Theres a human rights crisis ongoing in that region.

Fatf should be posted there while a solution for Rakhine state is charted out.

I dont know about forced conversion. These are poor lower caste people. With so much inferiority complex. Minority people have lower option to interact with broader society and lower castes have the least. So they dont like their own religion and convert to associate themselves with majority people. This way much of the BD area has actually become Muslim majority. Converting at the hands of vondo pirs with conflicting Ideology to Islam, later they spread too much fallacy. Another way Hindus convert is to marry Muslims. I have seen economically doing well Hindus fasts like Muslims, sacrifice cows in Qurbani or going to mazars. These they do on their own out of desire as Hinduism isnt well defined religion. The real economic benefit they may get from Churches to convert to Christianity. BD has actually beastly culture. All people are persecuted one way or another. The muslims may say they are persecuted by Hindu loving govt in power.

I dont think anyone can prove that Hindus are persecuted in Bangladesh! And, you have to ask those converts, why they became Muslim. Only they can answer...
Will these Hindus get any social or financial benefits if they become Muslims ?
Can't tell anything about financial benefits, but they surely get some social benefits. Especially “respect”...

Dont know. But, personally I dont think so...

Hindus enjoy themselves in BD. Our local doctor we call him Babu and give him adab (salam to non muslims) he has been our doctor for the last 20 years.

PDF is full of BS and faggots.

Funny thing is although Hindus are minority in my area, 50% gov job including primary school teacher, high school teacher, palli bidyut office, medical, union board are theirs.

No one really cares that cause it is been this way and everyone used to with this from childhood. Unless someone impose hate in peoples brain, people doesn't care much.
Also i don't like people using technology in my area especially because social media like FB are now full of biased and hate group. And being new to these propaganda, anyone can fall for it.

Spot on. They're also easily identifiable.

Bangladeshi Hindus r more into education. I don't have any statistics to show it but what I've observed (u also pointed out in ur post) is, a good percentage of qualified doctors, servise holders and teachers in Bangladesh r HINDU.

Even in my iba department I used to find a decent number of hindu students as my classmates in every single semester.

Didn't get the first part. What did u try to to imply by saying everyone is used to it. Everyone is Used to what exactly?

Agreed. Social media is full of bigots and idiots. Hence, their opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt.

At a mere 7 per cent, Bangladesh Hindus under threat, says US rights activist

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The minority Hindus in Bangladesh are facing the threat of ethnic cleansing, US rights activist Richard L Benkin has said. Delivering a lecture organised by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) here the other day, he said the Hindu population there had witnessed a major decline and it is even likely the entire community will be wiped out in the future if there is no effective intervention.

Benkin said he is carrying out an indepth research on the Hindu population’s dwindling numbers which now stand at a mere 7 per cent as per the 2016 figures. Compared to this, the Hindus accounted for 35 per cent of the population in the then Eastern Pakistan in 1947 which slumped to 20 per cent following the liberation of Bangladesh in 1971.

“The Hindu population is suffering a major fall in the numbers. The ethnic cleansing of Hindus in that country should be opposed tooth and nail. The global community should put pressure on Dhaka on the issue,” he said while blaming this on the intolerance shown by the majority Muslim population.

According to Benkin, rights activists world over, who highlight the abuses in Syria ,Yemen, and Afghanistan as well as other parts of the globe, remain tight-lipped on the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh.

“Bangladesh’s Hindus face a constant onslaught of government tolerated murder, rape, abduction, forced conversion, land grab and more, including a 2009 pogrom, which took place right behind a Dhaka police station. Yet, the world has remained silent until now,” he said.

Benkin’s tome ‘A Quiet Case of Ethnic Cleansing: The Murder of Bangladesh’s Hindus’ which has accounts of the horror by Hindus in Bangladesh may well bring the issue into public focus and trigger meaningful intervention. SJM state convener Ranjith Karthikeyan presided over the meeting.

Look guys, irrespective of whatever may be the image the Muslims form by seeing a simple attendance of a few Hindus in Atrashi, it does not show the inner thinking of Hinduism. Go to the Mazaar of any prominent Peer, you will see many Hindus, and without knowing the reality, you will immediately think they are there to be converted themselves to the rigorous Islamic rules. This is absurd, not even found in the wishful novels.

Go to Ajmer Sharif, you may find more Hindus there praying and doing Manaat than the Muslims. But, why? It is because the Hindus respect anyone who has reached a level above a normal human being. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is one such Peer. So, the Hindus go to many such places to pay homage and respect to those deceased, who, by their novel works, ascended above the normal people. To them, these people are near or above the Devotas irrespective of the fact that they themselves are Hindu.

Rights activists world over, who highlight abuses in those muslim countries remain tight lipped on BD because they are not absolute morons like you whose whole argument is based on hindu population decline from 19 f*cking 47. You know, the year when the British literally divided territory based on religion. What an appalling though that Many Indian muslims and Bangladeshi Hindus might have thought of going to the new country of their religion isn't it?

How about show actual abuses instead of population figures you monumental idiot? What a shock other rights activist aren't surprised, a part of the world with 1947 religious divide history, has seen one get more of the same population while decline in another one in those early years.

Learn from those activist your prick. Since those activist all calls out literally every other muslim country as you just said, so it wasn't because BD is muslim majority country that they are silent. How about come up with something of actual substance other than just population figures of 1947, 1971 and Current one.

I have never seen a moron like these who compares 1947 of BD population by religion then compares current one and pretends there's an ethnic cleansing as if he is completely clueless what happened in both 1971 and especially 1947.

”Ethnic” cleansing! Really? Didn't knew Bangladeshi Hindus have separate ethnicity... LOL

Anyway, in Bangladesh there is NO general support for violence against anyone! If minorities switch side to become part of the majority, then nothing can be done!

Two of my friends belongs to Bishnupriya Monipuri ethnicity. But, they are more conservative Muslim than Im. Maybe they're victims of the Bangladeshi hindu ethnic cleansing I guess...

Yup, no ethnic cleansing is going on in Bangladesh. But there is little to no doubt about the fact that Hindus of Bangladesh r leaving for India at an alarming rate. Reasons behind such migration needs to be identified ASAP.

A renowned professor of DU, Prof. Abul Barkat has claimed in one of his books that there will be hardly any Hindus left in Bangladesh after 3/4 decades from here on. He mentioned in his book that the percentage of Bangladeshi Hindus leaving for India has increased in recent years.

Yes, as u rightly said, most ppl wanna be a part of the majority but at the same time we need to keep in mind that these r the same people who decided to be a part of Bangladesh/East pak after the separation. Even after the liberation war many of those who fled to India again returned to Bangladesh.

Then why r they migrating at an alarming rate now. What have we failed to do as an independent nation in last 40 years? R they feeling unwelcomed or threatened in Bangladesh or r they leaving for India just for a better economic life?
