Kerala demand for classical language status for Malayalam

https://www.oneindia.com/2011/01/14...ical-language-status-formalayalam-aid0126.htm

Tamil was the first Classical Language of India
. The government declared Tamil (in 2004), Sanskrit (in 2005). These two languages are undoubtedly parental sources for many languages belonging to the Indo-European family and the Dravidian family of linguistic groups. Later the government declared Kannada and Telugu (in 2008) as classical languages of India. In 2013, Malayalam was also given status of classical language. In 2014, Odiya was also given the status of Classical language.

With this the following six languages are included in the list of Classical Languages:
  1. Tamil (since 2004)
  2. Sanskrit (since 2005)
  3. Telugu (since 2008)
  4. Kannada (Since 2008)
  5. Malayalam (since 2013)
  6. Odiya (since 2014)

"Tamil only classical language that had survived all the way to the modern world"

Good then .

Most of the Tamil people are Christians. My country should support independence of oppressed Tamil people in India and Srilanka.

Tamil is the original language of India. Hindi was brought in by invader. That is why Hindi is closer to English than Tamil.

.
Also, India's rightwing terror group - RSS supports Hindification so as to achieve their dream of Hindu Ummah (Akhand Bharat). Besides, RSS is a brahmanical organization more or less in belief similar to stormfront readers (White Nationalists) of racial superiority and advocates (covertly) for caste system and subjugation of South Indians, North Easterners on the basis of language. Their motto is Hindi-Hindu-Hindustan..

If demand for one such chair is accepted every other states will rise a demand for same. So contact state govt for such demand. .

Tamil nationalist position, as stated many times, is that Indian gov should stay out of promoting languages. It should not spend any money on any language. If necessary give funds to state in proportion to population and let states spend as they please. That means Hindi will get about 30%. Now Hindi and Sanskrit get 95%

Don't spread these bull shit.only language chair from india is sanskrit chair established in 1903

Why is Indian gov spending billions of Rupees on sanskrit? Why is my taxes used to support a language that is alien to me?

It's pretty obvious Sanskrit is Eurasian in origin. Hinduism is a by product of mixing indigenous beliefs with what the Aryans brought in. The same Central Asians then brought in Hindi/Urdu. The original language of India is Dravida, and the closest living relative Tamil.

Turkish on the other hand is Mongoloid in origin, having same ancestry as Korean, Mongolian and Japanese. Racially the same, but I cannot understand why Mandarin is so different, it seems to be a unique language by itself.

Well, Tamils are not the only original language of India. Other Dravidian language belongs in India as well. One of these languages should be the language of India. I would recommend Tamil as it maintain the most of the ancient Proto,Dravidian language.

Sanskrit is the language of Pontic steppe. Not India. It’s closer to English than Tamil.

Agree that Sanskrit is alien to India and Tamil is the original language of India. All non Tamil people need to be kicked out of India to Central Asia.
