Barelvi is the traditional sunni group. They are specifically called brelvi because of the brelvi movement which was aimed at countering Wahabism and Deubandi Schools of thought.
The Deubandi movement was a reformist movement within the traditional sunni muslim group inspired by the Wahabi views. So Deubandi school can be considered grossly as a cross between Sunni and Wahabi school of thoughts.

Pakistanis started this sectarian non sense. The majority were quiet and very happy to see minorities like Ahmadis being declared kafir. Now the same takfiri dogs have started attacking Brelvis so now they are waking up. I really do hope the saner and sensible Pakistanis get rid of extremism in the society.

That being said not all Deobandis are terrorists. You can't label all of a sect terrorists. I have deobandi family members, they are some of the best educated, well behaved and open minded people.
