By the end of 2014, China had more than 110,000 kilometers of railways, of which 15,800 kilometres were high-speed railway lines. HSR lines within city clusters in China largely facilitate communication and stimulate domestic demand. The following shows HSR networks of major city clusters in China.
Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou)
Pearl River Delta (Shenzhen SEZ, Guangzhou, Dongguan)
@Yizhi What do you think, as a Cantonese, of Guangzhou Railway Co. Ltd. having been lobbied to build less lines as to give bus companies some room?
