Only thing forbidden are carnivorous animals like cats,dogs,mice/rodents,pork,alcohol etc and their by-products.

There is no vegetable that is haram lol.

China is secular. She see Halal label marketing creeping. That is not nice.

Yes it encourages to spread Muslim religion message on Packets by labeling halal , imagine Christian, hindu , buddish message written on eating packets. It will surely divide China. There should be no religion agenda on food as China is not Muslim country.

Not entirely true. Halal trolleys cannot be used for non halal food. Once a trolleys comes in contact with non halal food it becomes Haram. Yes fresh veggies not Haram, but these days of process food you have no idea what is added in the ingredients. In Malaysia pork extract are used in mooncakes so we have mooncakes that are halal or Haram. Some pig skins are also used in lady handbag so some are non halal. Do you know that the rubby ball is made of pigskin?

Because the spinx is Haram. The original plans was a human head but it's location would make it face a mosque directly across the road.

Huge amount of pork and associated products (stock, broth, etc) in Chinese food man.

I would think it would be really dicey for a practicing Muslim in China.

Most hardcore Indian veggies who go there are definitely carrying powders, masalas etc. and limit themselves to the safe foods like bread, white rice, etc.

Even their papads (equivalent) have pork flavoring in them.

It is indeed a fake news as many Chinese members here have already confirmed.

The concept of banning Halaal is based on being Humane.

This concept is applicable only in liberal societies of Europe and some parts of North America based on Christian principles.

This concept is totally foreign and is not applicable to communist/atheist China.

India/Hindus who are ultra liberals go one step ahead of Europe/North America/Christianity in banning slaughter of certain animals altogether.
