Harvard Graduated Clown of India Comes Up With New Prediction about Pakistan

.
Not very surprising if it happens..

Don't be idiots by ridiculing like dumb effs just because an Indian said so..

1) a saner pakistani will probably agree that pakistan is fertile ground for militancy.

2) there are enough jihad seekers and eno ugh loons in pakistan to wage a war similar to what isis is up to.

3) there is a strong religious angle to the region and what the isis is propagating about korasan and the Dajjal and the end of days theory that Muslims believe in and many in pakistan would willingly get involved in.

4) the isis has identified pakistan as a potential target.

5) there's enough Saudi, US influence and money in pakistan and there's enough wahaabi and salafi influence and forces in pakistan to make it happen.

The only probable saving grace is your army - if it wasn't for the army your leaders and your bureaucrats and your lawmakers and your mullahs and your charity organizations. would have sold you and your country to anyone for a price.

1) True, it is a fertile ground.

2) Possibly true, but there are also enough anti-ISIS mentality type loons as well.

3) A large number of the nutjobs might, but the ISIS has made a mistake with its overly brutal attacks. By contrast organizations that parade as benign such as Hizb-ut-Tahrir have greater success.

5). Too simplistic. There is enough ISIS like ideology in Pakistan to make it happen but the US is steering clear of it. The Saudis or private GCC "investors" are another question.

There is also a danger of say 2-4% of such ISIS like mindset within the military. The Army is the most effected(widest pool from all strata of society), next being the Navy and last being the Airforce(as GDP screening tends to shuttle such ideals out).

on what basis? Lal masjid? or the whiskey drinking generals commanding Mard e momins?

Anything. He can have his own f*cked up logic that can be exploited by you guys.

There are a lot of closet supporters. The civil society got beaten up by a bunch of such closet supporters today.
What happened to people who took out a candle march out in memory of Salmaan Taseer was a sign. A sign of how far the rot has spread within the Pakistani society.

. . .
ISIS is a Sunni movement. Why should they be anti Pakistan? Rather the fear is of ISIS and Pakistan pincering Iran from what I've heard in many professional quarters.

These are just theories currently. There is a higher proportion of Shia officers in the Army vis-a-vis their representation in the population so such ideals dont garner too much support.

The Iranians have been having their usual proxy wars here as well, which is countered by the Saudis. Both are now being shut down with the new anti-terror policy. The ISIS may however, have a significant minority closet support among the middle/ lower middle class(as it does in India too) in the 17-50 age category. Again, 150 out of say 5000 may seem minor but the level of brainwashing and pure barbarism makes them a very dangerous force.

Most Pakistanis dont even know about the Islamic State, and even if they do; the Islamic state will be dismissed as a terrorist group by most Pakistanis. I heard a few supporters carrying ISIS flags were arrested.

Yes it was a sign of malignancy. But you also have to realize the ratio.. there were some 50-60 civil society folks and some 5-6 attackers. The worrying bit was NOT the 5-6.. it was that no one else responded or stood up to them... not even civil society.

. .
Well sir, I am an army brat myself. So am pretty sure of my sources. They are not as high profile or well known as RAW or ISI but they do their job and know what they are doing.
then why is it not on the media

Sir, I can accept some kind of Indian hand behind TTP. I will concede the point as long as people in Pakistan are able to see whats hurting them for real.
