I really wonder why Pakistanis celebrate Independence Day on 14th August even though they should be celebrating it on the 15th?

Though we both remain slave of British...but Indian have the honour to remain one day more than us..hmm we got independent one day ahead you...kind of advance than India on this one as well...

hmmm, it was officially decided that pakistan's independence day is 14th and Indians 15th...so we must remain partitioned on the independence day...not to have even a UNITED partition day (issn't that a BRITISH RAJ conspiracy )...

Otherwise bro, you are logically true, that if some thing is partitioned (separated) from its constituents then both parts get separated at the same time...

Didnt want to reply to this, but you are wrong too.

At the time of partition the document suggested that the independence shall take place on 15th of August. since viceroy couldnt be at two place on the same time, therefore, practically Pakistan got its independence a day before.

although the same viceroy remained India's governor general for some years afterwards, but still practically they claim independence on 15th of August, cause thats when they were transferred powers, as Pakistan was on 14th.
