Saudi Arabian national day lasts all year round. Besides this current discussion does not concern the national day.
@BLACKEAGLE
Also bro we miss you on this forum. The forum is lately getting to me. Too many idiots, clowns, trolls and the Kazakh/Central Asian offspring (Farsi) around here meddling in Arab and Muslim matters and in general writing nonsense on every thread. Double users left and right. The moderators either don't prioritize this section or simply don't have the time. If this continues then I am afraid that I will follow your example and only post here rarely or from time to time. Will happen automatically when I get back home from exile anyway. @Mesomania probably also got tired of all the trolling.
Long gone are the serious and constructive discussions like once (months ago) if we look past a few topics and the usual users who contribute and try to keep this section afloat. Rest is..... no comment.
We seriously need an ARAB moderator. There are many Arab users but we have no moderator to moderate this section and the "Arab Defence" section.
Oh c'mon he is about to reach 10k posts .. Conspirator
You get to try Mansaf guys, it's much more delicious than anything you eat fatty
I know the situation here. Let their hatred eat them, why to bother unless you wanted to to slap them into their harsh reality.

What the celebration is about? What KSA contributed to humanity?
KSA is another under developed country which is fortunate to have oil reserves. Like other Arab regimes KSA is a despotic and feudal and spread an extreme Islamic ideology.
Correct me if I am wrong.

We celebrate the foundation of our own country, we don't expect people to celebrate it with us though.
In medical fields, Saudi Specialists Doctors conducted tens of conjoined-twin separation surgeries from every corner in this world. KFSH is one of the most successful medical research institutions in the ME. Additionally, KSA is the largest exporter of medications, medical instruments to underdeveloped countries around the world. The medications we produce, are being sent at no cost at all, how humane is that?

This is unrelated to medical achievements, just for reference.
We own one of the largest companies across the globe
But, No, not crude oil only, we have got the fourth largest reserve of conventional gas, third largest reserve of shale gas. KSA also possesses %4 of gold reserve worldwide, we hadn't dogged out Khaybar mines yet though. Further more, KSA has $2 trillion reserves, and the number is growing yearly. We heavily have been investing locally, internationally be it China, France, Italy, Turkey, the US, India, Pakistan, the UK, and Spain.
We don't equate ourselves with others.
Some people tend to think in a way similar to Marxism; whereby democracy is an answer for everything.
Almost all the "achievements" you quoted are due to KSA's natural resources and not because of the talent the society which remains back-warded and oppressive.
And yes, open society is the answer and a feudal kingdom like KSA, which is unable to guarantee full opportunities and rights to its people, should be considered under-developed, no matter how many surgeries its medic doctors conducted.
Anyway, happy birthday and may your country progress towards enlightenment eventually.
