Hamas miscalculation?

.
It seems to me like people forget that hamas has never hide the fact that they are a radical militant group who public and stated aim is to destroy Israel and that they would NEVER RECOGNISE OR NEGOTIATE WITH ISRAEL and that their aim is to destroy them and claim back all the lost territory. It seems to me like people often forget this fact as well. So if some people think a negotiated settlement is the solution then Hamas is out of the picture and shouldn't even be considered in this regard .
Hamas stated aim is a military solution to the crisis. So if military solution is the goal then the current Israel Hamas war is the desired and reasonable aim. The only thing is that civilians have been collateral damage on both sides.
So people have to take their pick. Diplomatic solution which totally excludes militant groups like Hamas or military one who involves Hamas but favours Israel since they are by far the stronger side militarily.
Mike, imagine if Hamas occupied the UK and systematically exterminated every Brit at gunpoint, forcing them into a tiny ghetto, and then bombed that Ghetto to smithereens in the name of counterterrorism, while killing 99.95% civilians. All while the world gaslights the British into believing that they are terrorists for objecting.

That is what Israel is to Palestinians. The atrocities of Israel are solely responsible for radicalising Gazans to the point a group like Hamas can prosper.

.
I disagree completely,, Hamas judged this quite well

Any moron can predict that the Jews would have a murderous response, they have the backing of the U.S and west

But their was no alternative, I don't see a path to freedom and independence being presented to the Palestinians, otherwise the west bank would be free and we would have a independent Palestine in the west bank with east Jerusalem as it's capital

Where we could then accuse Hamas,, BUT WE DONT both Gaza and the west bank are under attack

This attack by Hamas however brutal and however monstrous the response by Israel, SHOOK EVERYTHING UP

It pulled the rug from underneath the Israeli plans to continue the occupation indefinitely and make good relations with the regional Muslim and Arab states

It revealed so many many true faces of regional Arabs, the west etc THAT IS WORTH EVERYTHING

a response across the world from millions upon millions for a free Palestine
And the Jews under unprecedented pressure

This was not a miscalculation, I think that this was calculated quite well
More importantly it laid bare naked the whole western genocidal cult that has been massacring people in the global south for centuries. That despite their civilized facade their racist bigoted hate for non whites let's them kill thousand of babies and rejoice in those killing leave alone feeling any remorse for it.

Yeah the Taliban and all extremists can go jump off a big cliff.

We all know extremism is a problem in insular societies. It doesn’t matter if they are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, white, black, green or purple.

sadly some elect to defend the indefensible.

🤷‍♂️
How do you explain Israeli extremism, they are hardly an insular society yet gleefully committing genocide and rejoicing at the sight of mutilated babies, literally.

One positive aspect of this war is the whole Muslim world has seen the true face of filthy pajeets. Funny thing is Indian Muslims are still beghairat munafiqs who on one hand cry crocodile tears for palestine and on the other give phul sapport to the Indian occupation of Kashmir

Indians are genetically servile slaves who just do whatever the ruling government/emperor/sultan/viceroy instructs them to do.

October 7th, 2023, Hamas caught IDF and Israel security apparatus off guard.
According to reports:

More than 1,400 people have been killed in Israel, with 6,900 others injured. At least 32 of those killed are Americans. And Israeli officials say 239 people are being held hostage in Gaza.

39th day into Israel Gaza War, Hamas is no where to be seen, just few sporadic attacks here and there.

IDF land forces strength:

169,500 active military personnel
465,000 reserve forces
2,200+ tanks
530 artillery (SP, Towed, MRL, MOR).

Destroying few tanks and other vehicles, few dozen IDF soldiers hasn't/wouldn't dent IDF.

Deaths in Gaza:

11,180 people killed in Israeli airstrikes, including 4,609 children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah, which draws its figures from the Hamas-controlled territory.

Hamas hiding in their tunnels, they don't have any situational awareness, and they are no where to be seen defending the Gazan Population.

They may claim to have highlighted Palestine once again, but USA won't be settling Palestine issue in favor of Palestine. All Arab countries are with US and Israel for trade and commerce with Israel and New Middle east.

It's not a miscalculation, but very short-sighted act, which is expected from any non-state players. And they did achieve their objective I believe.

That's the difference between a State making a move vs Terrorist making a move - A strategic one vs tactical one.

You could see this on all Arab neighbour's non-participation, as they think beyond the emotional aspect of muslim brotherhood. They have their own country men, development agenda & political stability. They can't bet these for emotional reason.

Yeah Tik tok is definitely gonna get banned 😂😂
I wonder what Zionists are thinking right now. Will this die down shortly after the conflict ends? Or will zionism be a common talking point now?

It seems they are struggling to control domestic opinion and coercing leaders might not be acceptable anymore

Oh bro in the US they are going insane. Just look at Ben Shapiro. He’s now fighting with his own employees.

And not that many people in the US have an appetite for war. Insulin, rent, and groceries are out of reach for a lot of people. Zionists depended on the religious angle for their support as Christians believe Israel is necessary for the rapture, but people today aren’t as religious as they were 20 years ago.

Millennials are just waking up to this...been debated to death in the last two decades.

Dude...don't tell me the Taliban are moderate Muslims. "No extremist Muslims out there"? Come on...
Afghanistan taliban are not moderate, but they are the product of their centuries old tribal system. Sometimes nature keeps few insane ppl to down insanely powerful super powers.

Of course I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying even if hypothetically that did happen then we will jave no choice than to try and negotiate a dogmatic solution with Hamas since they wull be by the bigger/more powerful power. So our best recourse is to negotiate and hope they can allow us to live in peace and tranquility. With time when there is enough trust between both sides things might even soften up between us, especially if a more liberal government comes to power, or we will have to just wait it out for a better day, aftersll nothing is permanent. HOWEVER, Going around with some riffles and crude missile to launch against Hamas territory which poses no real threat to them but invites more radical retaliation to us and the people is not a better solution. It's in fact worse, since militarily they will be far stronger than usual . Throwing oneself to sure death is not bravery or intelligence is plain Stupidness and useless.
As I have said before, the world has never been a fair place to begin with. So we have to bear that in mind. The world is a man eat man world where power determines who dictates the terms. If Hamas had the upper hand militarily they will do exactly the same thing Israel is doing if not even worse. So humans are like that. Nothing we can change about that. So we have to bear in mind our worlds realities instead of hoping for fantasy and hoping it manifest. Lol The world is full of injustices, Palestinians are not the only ones or the first to suffer from injustices and they won't be the last. In fact there are other regions and territories whose people are/have been going through even worse , the only difference is that today we are talking about Israel hamas conflict since its the one that's trending today. Tomorrow we will move on to the next one. That's the world we live in. 😁

Hamas knew for sure that there will be severe bombardment and 1000s of people will be killed.

Hamas also knew its limited resources and it knew much bigger numbers and advance capabilities of IDF.

Hamas wanted to put attention of the world to this cause once again. Palestinians were nearly forgotten at world stage. Palestinians and Palestine were becoming irrelevant at world stage. The arab world was coming close to Israel very rapidly. KSA along with many other countries were about to normalise relations. PLus regional connectivity were being discussed. Hamas didn't wanted all this without resolution to their issue. Palestinians were already living in strict restrictions. So, Hamas achieved its objective in that sense.

From military point of view and how things will move in future: Well, its too early to say anything yet. Hamas could have retreated to a certain location and waiting for their next move. Israelis will not be able to achieve much keeping hold of those areas, its very resource intensive task to keep patroling those sensitive and densely populated areas, plus that comes with global backlash too.

However IMO, Hamas should have waited to achieve some specific technologies before attempting a largescale operation as they did on oct 7th. Suchs as powerful ATGMs, shoulder fired SAMs, ability to develop powerful mines and deploy and remove those on need basis. Lot of tanks could have been stopped or slowed down to great deal with mines.
What they developed in blockade was a marvel.
They lost tactically but ....may have achieved strategic objectives.

Daniel asked, when shall be the end of all this, the trampling of the holy people?
Angel said, when the power of the holy people will be completely gone, then it shall be.

IOK is to be freed by the 6th largest army with nuclear weapons, not a muslim population under hindutva control.
Would you ask Pakistani awam to go to liberate IOK or the army?
And blame awam?

It is a good thing Egypt has refused to open the border otherwise Palestinians would have lost gaza forever.

Hamas are freedom fighters but unfortunately they have been infiltrated by mossad, oct 7 attack was a blessing in disguise for Netanyahu

Yeah Tik tok is definitely gonna get banned 😂😂
And then Apple will be banned in China...followed by Tesla. After AIPAC, Corporations have the second biggest say in the US Foreign Poicy...and they wouldn't want to let go of their 2nd biggest market in China.
