Whether Hamas attacked or not, Israel was going to destroy Gaza any way, it was part of their strategy and planned long before Oct 7th, the massive stock piling of US bunker busting bombs, Artillery, missiles , aircraft, blank checks of free US tax payer money, the spike in Israeli provocative murders of women and children , increased Euro/US/Israeli Zion cooperation etc were clear signs of things to come.

Palestinians did what any people with honor would do and that is to go down fighting.
