My second grand father was Major in British army, he told that all Sikhs were called back from front after second world war but Muslim soldiers and officer were kept away deliberately, which resulted in unprotected caravans and hence more blood shed of Muslims.

Where i said Hindus were involved? It was mainly between Muslims & Sikhs. I just stated the fact that congress decision of disarming Muslims Police officers worsen already out of control situation.

Actually main reason of this confusion which i concluded from the talks of my grand parents is that most of ruler population was not aware of partition of Punjab - the ones who were aware didn't knew the new boundaries, and many were not interested to leave their homes. It's the riots which forced people to move.

i think you misunderstood me like your indian counterpart vin,did i said people should form terrorist organizations,but hafiz saeed,maulana ludhianvi,zia ul haq all lost their homes during partition and they were surely groomed in a hindu hating environment,my purpose was to tell the opressors(whether hindus,muslims or sikhs) to stop this hatred thaey have towards each other and stop the riotings otherwise you would create people like hafiz saeed.
