and supposedly the saudi backed terrorists are on vacation the rest of year and suddenly become active during Ashura- that doesnt make sense-

Yes, it makes little sense if any. No such attack has any precedence in Saudi Arabian history. The relative few terrorist attacks in KSA have historically always targeted compounds, public buildings etc. that hosted foreigners, often Westerners. There was never any feud between the Saudi Arabian Sunni community (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali, Hanafi, Sufis) or the Shia community (Twelver, Zaydi, Ismaili). The timing of this attack and the geopolitical reality of the region is just too good to believe.

In any case what is important is that this attack was relatively harmful (could have been much worse) and that the perpetrators have already been arrested. Rest we will find out later.

I am very sure that no conflict etc. will emerge due to this attack regardless of who is behind or the agenda behind this attack. The first word that came into my mind when I checked my Facebook today after classes and saw the news in Arabic newspapers (that linked to the story) I said false-flag attack or at least I thought that it was very suspicious timing.

Our Shia community has been celebrating Ashura since forever and never have they been attacked by anyone. Whether in the Eastern Province, Madinah or Najran etc.

Good for you that you are able to use Wikipedia.

Yet none of the cry babies here are able to dispute any single of the teachings of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab al-Tamimi (ra) as all of them follow Islam. I say this as a Shafi'i myself but let people here misuse one of the 99 names of Allah (swt) and the name of the Sheikh that died over 200 years ago and that has nothing to do with what people do today of crimes in the name of Islam. If following Islam makes one a so-called "Wahhabi" then I am proudly a "Wahhabi".

Also this just in, the shooter was also a Shia, it was a feud between two families over money and land........

Also this just in, each and every single one of you Mother Foockers who wished to turn the blood of innocent people into propaganda machine oil you can go Foook yourselves you sick bastards.

@haman10 go fook yourself. The blood of innocent Saudis will never be used to fuel your wheel of hatred. Go to the hell of whence you came.

And all of them can not answer the simply questions I asked, not because it is written in Wikipedia or anywhere else it means it is true, answer the two questions I made, bringing a Wikipedia article is not really a answer is it? Try again.

You won't get answer unless you read from the sources I provided.

Your both questions are answered, spare some of your precious time and just give it a through read.

Oh I read all of these sources, and then some, but what is different between you and me is that I know this "cult"'s beliefs you speak of first hand and all of these sources are extremely and utterly wrong and are just spewing hatred and fallacies.

And none of them answer the two questions I made, otherwise if you really claimed to have read it you would answer it, and even if you did, you wouldn't be able to. My question is a rhetorical question, which means you might also need to learn English as well.

Bad that you don't belive in anything unless it's in your holy books.

It's good that finally you discovered yourself.

My only holy book is the Noble Qur'an. The fact that you like all the other clowns are unable to answer simple questions or dispute anything is obvious for all. You calling people names on the internet is good for you too.

The Holy Land is the cradle of Islam and will always remain as such.

@Mosamania safe your time please.

@WebMaster @Horus @Chak Bamu @Fulcrum15 @jaibi @Emmie @Manticore

Troll thread title made by a Kurdi troll that pretends to care about Arabs but only uses this thread to defame KSA. Moreover a lot of information coming in now that this was a family feud among Shias.

So you are motivated by sectarianism? Or have assigned yourself as Shia protecter? Not far that some Shias have involved in the killing of a few Sunnis and were all label as criminals not ''Shia criminals'' . Look, Saudi Arabia is different than home you should get that fit into your frozen brain little kid. Shia/Sunnis sectarianism has no place in Saudi Arabia. Any sectarian sentiment by any group will face the iron fest. The law applies on everyone with no regard to his/her religious background.

What is my sectarian shit? You are mixing oil with water here, Im not an Iranian.

Try to work on your punctuation instead of jumping up and down in things that are not linked to you in anyway.

Are they allowed to have their processions? You should just declare them illegal, since it is public disturbance and not part of Islam. You don't need to do those processions to celebrate Ashura. Ashura is about fasting and seeking forgiveness.

And RIP to the victims.

He apparently does not even know how Islam works, that person apparently does need a whole lot of education before he even considered declared anyone a cult and go on his Takfiri rampage.

RIP to dead ... i think its much better to pray for the injured rather let the forces do their work to arrest the criminals instead of criticizing one and other

Shias are as much a Saudi citizen as I am. I don't remember ever have we been labelling people in Saudi Arabia as either/or. This new mentality is foreign to us. And has only gained traction recently with increased sectarian propaganda from Iran. However there has been many campaigns to combat it, and many preachers are languishing in jails for promoting sectarian hatred.

On the other hand what did Iran do? In Iran being a "Wahabi" is a criminal offence that can be punished by death, and we are the sectarian ones, this is the funny part for me honestly.

I don't care the slightest about that clown.

What is more surprising is where the moderators are given posts 63, 64 and 68.

Okay what exactly is the defining feature of this "Cult", and how do you identify it? Is there a certain belief that makes this "cult" distinct from other Islamic schools of thought?

As per wilki it's " pseudo sunni Extremst and a re "reform movement" to
restore "pure monotheistic worship ”. It also provides their population % breakdown.I guess that will help you in finding the answer of your second question.

Second question bring me the people who identify themselves as "Wahabis" to pinpoint. Bring me a single person who identify themselves as "Wahabis".

Until you answer the two above questions how do you seek to implement what you are calling for?

Your fellow countrymen just discovered himself and identified himself as wahabi.

Apparently the mods have their thumbs up their asses because they are afraid if they don't toe the Iranian propaganda line they would get a backlash from our resident Shia extremists in the forum.

I know they are, they have the same rights as any Saudi citizen. You can't say the same for minorities in Iran. That being said, those processions which take place in public streets and involve self-flagellation need to go through local ministry to at least arrange permit for which streets/timing the processions will take place. And then there should be a debate if the flagellation processions can take place. That is my opinion.

Haman is being childish with his title. So when hundreds are killed within hours in Syria should we open threads titling them 'Rafidee terror attack'? You're better than that Haman. This imaginary 'Wahabi' thing is annoying. I've had people in public tell me Saudi's are 'wahabi''. I'm like wtf? There's no such thing.
