I'm not sure about the first thing either, but regarding your question - yes, I'm 100% sure about that.

Because Israel wanted to develop it on it's own, and sell to other nations to make a pretty penny. I just don't think that Israel will sell to the Gulf Arab nations, nor will the Gulf Arab nations will buy it.

By the way, the US does have missile defense systems, don't be ridiculous. The Iron dome was built with heavy US assistance, using US technology.

GCC, Turkey and Israel, are the only places in the ME that are stable, modern, successful and safe. We should really work together and solve ME's problems. Though, I highly doubt that this news is accurate, I truly hop that it happens.

Iran is not even a Semitic country like Israel and Arab countries. Iran is Indo European as are Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia in the region.

There is one inaccuracy I can see in the article without any further details: Arrow 1.
Arrow 1 was just a technology demonstrator, a proof of concept. It is not in service, and surely isn't going to be sold to anyone. Arrow 2 is in service, and Arrow 3 (similar to THAAD) is in development.

It is like "we already have tanks and howitzers, why would we need small arms, such as pistols and assault rifles". Have you ever seen a modern army without assault rifles?

Iron Dome is an effective and battle proven solution against salvos of Grad-type rockets. A single Patriot missile is twice larger, two-three times heavier, and 20 times more expensive. Patriot PAC3 is supposed to counter SCUD missiles, not rockets.

Iron Dome protects against artillery rockets , Patriot protects against Cruise Missiles and ICBMs , THAAD protects against ICBMs
