Wow... with Spain and Portugal splitting the points, the group is wide open. With Morocco's team being made up of players born and raised in Europe, and playing in good European leagues, it's not at a stretch to think they may have better luck against Portugal or Spain, with their style of play. As for Iran, two draws would guarantee the second round. Whereas Spain and Portugal would absolutely need a victory. How do you guys think this will play out?

With Saudi match, Iranian players will stop posing as fragile fairies that get knocked down by the wind and start getting physical. It would be great to watch imo.

One thing I don't like about playing against our southern neighbours is that as soon as they score a goal, then they start falling like flies and shamelessly kill time... And what's unfortunate is that I'm noticing that Iranian players have started doing that with them as well... So the match would be interesting as long as neither team is ahead.... lol

cant tell depend on how others play , the sure bet is 9 point, but by what yesterday happened even 4 point can be enough and even Morocco still have chance for advancing .

Well we didn't use some of our good players like Ghochi and Ashkan ... we've had record of 20 game without defeat (officials) ... we have chance to go next round.

After last night game btw Spain-Portugal I realized there would be no offense, all we must do is defending as known as "Auto bus defending" amongst Iranians ...

But whatever, we did while we were sanctioned even S korea canceled game, Adidas didn't accept sponsorship of Iran jersey even Nike didn't sell us shoes ...


On the other hand we defeated volleyball world championship 3-0 last night too.

Not to mentioned the first Asia team victory since 2010 in world cup
