The answer is no and it is well known that US/UK/France etc will much rather allow Nato to dissolve rather than take die.

Russia couldn't even attack/invade Turkey for the same reason, even after its fighter jets were deliberately shot down and its pilots killed. Do you think if Turkey was say Ukraine or Georgia(i.e small non NATO countries) Russia would have immediately decalre war and invade them without any questions asked. Don't you understand that BD is booming economically? GDP is doubling roughly every decade and the only reason
it is so poor now is that it gained independence in 1971. So no need to worry about BD as time will take care of
it's poverty.

As for your main point, like I say before Russia has little to gain from occupying these Nato members on it'so flanks
and so does not attack them. It can easily overrun with it's army and then rely on it's SAMs and tactical nuclear weapons to defend from any counter-attacks. We all know deep down that no country in Nato

Good to know Bengladesh is trying to come out of its abject poverty and improve its people's living standards, eventhough it has very limited natural resources, a huge population and tiny land. Wishing the country all the best.

Hope this enlightens you about BD a little.

A lot of people like to bracket BD with Pakistan and India since we are in the same region and are of similar ethnicity You are looking at a completely different country with BD, since it is unitary(single majority ethic group) and little religious extremism compared to either Pakistan or India.

With a severe lack of infrastructure currently, even compared to rest of S Asia, the economy is growing at 6-7% a year. When current major projects like Padma Bridge, Matabari coal and port complex, Roopur nuclear plant are completed in next 2-7 years, then this will push growth up to 8-9% a year sustained on average. There is no reason this cannot happen as BD is relatively stable country and it has one of the lowest debt burdens in the world at 34% of GDP(compare to 66% for India).

You see my friend, there is no need for either myself or you to worry about BD as time will take care of it's poverty which gives me the energy to worry about issues closer to home like Russia/Nato.

Invade....invade us......mate, since 1000 years we are undefeated in Anatolia. We warred against Russians for 17 times, we can hold our ground in the 18th one....only thing we need from NATO is nuclear deterrent nothing more.

Russia is unnecessary playing a gamble it cannot win..it would be better for Russia to focus on economic and industrial integration with Europe and improve the living conditions of its people...Russia has potential to rise as a great power provided it can play co-operative role with Europe..which would help bolster European security while reducing reliance on US and subsequently help Europe rise as a power full block.
