Gravitas: India votes against Israel on UN vote on women rights

Obsurd, Palestinian women in the western bank govern by PA.
Israel has nothing to do with their advancements, self reliance and integration in the Palestinian community.

Moreover, the resolution singles out Israel as the only one in the world who undermines women lol
Well, the rest of the world seems to disagree with you mate. I don't really know the reality of the matter. What I was sure about was that there is something wrong with the reporting which usually is the case with Indian media. And I just proved that.

Look at post#10. You will know I am right. I dont hate you. Why would I hate you. Idont even know you. I am just stating the fact and that too with proof. Now if you want to deny that this report gave a totally wrong impression of the waht realy happend then its upto you I can do anything about that because that is what most of the Indian people seem to do. believe Indian media regrdless of what rest of the world is saying.
Most of the countries that supported that resolution are arab countries which has dispecable women rights to say the least, but ofcourse only Israel singled out again.
And they won't name PA that actually govern the Palestinian women and make up the rules, but Israel.
Abusrd

It was a lost cause so voted after taking people in Tel Aviv but you are feel free to hate us. :)
This isn't the first time India do such a thing, so don't play the victim card on me.
If you'd be true to the cause u'd also make resolution of women rights in arab countries.

Its indeed to do with the obstacles facing Palestinian women. It would be absurd to link this to Israeli women who enjoy far more freedoms than most women in the world. Israel is a very liberal country and they can go and sunbathe freely on the beach like its any western beach on the Mediterranean. Try that in India and you'll get raped.

It's pretty common in Goa. Sunbathing and all.

P.S- I am scratching my head about what India just did here.

Sorry if we hurt your feeling personally but your leaders know our bounds. I have nothing more to add.

Also India which actually is the worst place on earth when it comes to women. Again not my words. Its amnesty saying that.
Our analysis–that reflects the views of 370 gender specialists from five continents and most of the G20 nations–found Canada to be the best G20 country for women. The worst? Perhaps a surprise: Not Saudi Arabia, but India.

Why Arab countries...we should look at our own record at our own country before pointing finger at others

UN expert: When Palestinian men beat their wives, it’s Israel’s fault

https://unwatch.org/un-expert-palestinian-men-beat-wives-israels-fault/
Israel, she argues, incurs at least partial blame for all of these Palestinian domestic crimes.
and why? because:
Israel is to blame because house demolitions create instability, which results in Palestinians living in a relative’s overcrowded home, which increases pressure on families, and this, finally, leads to Palestinian male violence against women.
In Gaza, Palestinian women are subjected to “inherited forms of discrimination and violence,” yet this too is Israel’s fault—”due to the blockade that limits their mobility and privacy, but also their access to adequate services needed for women victims of violence.”

Not justifying violence against women, but considering strict cultural norms, the occupation does heavily effects the mental state of people which most of the time leads to violence and also the inadequate facilities.
Violence motivates further violence. It's a psychological fact. When you see violence everywhere and when you are living in constant occupation it does affect your mental state.

Always state the full story not just a part of it. Avoid inspiration from Indian media.:-)

It's talking about Israeli women in general.
And Palestinian women in the west bank are treated mostly by the PA, and not by Israel.
And even they live better than most middle eastern women
We all know how Israeli females are treated in the kibbutz, so it could be a reflection of this.

Yep, like many other resolutions against Israel, it's a political one that has no hold in reality.
Israel probably have better women rights than most if not all the countries that voted in favor of the resolution.
India showed again, that it can't be trusted as an ally.
Israel should treat them as a trading partner and nothing more
Israel also has a problem with those women misusing their liberties and attacking men. There are multiple articles and documentaries on the subject.

Indians like Chinese in the tech industry have a problem that they only want to work with their own people, especially those that came straight from India. Working with them is nothing but bad experience. They form their own communities at the company itself.
