Yep, like many other resolutions against Israel, it's a political one that has no hold in reality.
Israel probably have better women rights than most if not all the countries that voted in favor of the resolution.
India showed again, that it can't be trusted as an ally.

Well I do not subscribe to the Israeli feeling of every resolution against them is unjust and anti-semitic, but on the issue of women's rights Israel is very strong and this resolution (although I have not seen it in depth) seems silly.

Indians really seem to love Israelis so I am surprised that they would vote this way from a political POV as well.

Its indeed to do with the obstacles facing Palestinian women. It would be absurd to link this to Israeli women who enjoy far more freedoms than most women in the world. Israel is a very liberal country and they can go and sunbathe freely on the beach like its any western beach on the Mediterranean. Try that in India and you'll get raped.
