Good initiative, the Freelancing Industry recently crossed the $1 Billion mark and there's great potential to further expand on that. Freelancing can be an important component of a new, knowledge based economy where we can earn significant capital by exporting nothing but our skills, right from the comfort of our homes.

One drawback of free lancing that needs to be rectified is that any it is not considered as a job experience by most companies and professional certificate granting institutions. The next step should be to resolve this issue as i believe it is unfair to a person that his hard work is not taken as work experience.
