what is the purpose of this military alliance ? Is it terrorism ? or just a alliance against Iran and Yemen

It is By the mercy OF Allah that he choose Pakistan army for this great purpose to unite the muslim and remember them who they are.Time begins

It is against CIA
It is against Raw

It is not against children
It is not against humanity
but against those who are blood suckers of muslims

I would imagine the immediate problem in region is to improve regional defences against agressive Terrorist elements who may be recieving weapons from unknown sources.

Return of Syrian refugee to Syria and its reconstruction and containment of ISIS and Kurd problem should be a primary objective for all regional partners

ISLAMABAD: Former Chief of the Army Staff General (retd) Raheel Sharif reached Riyadh on Friday to head the Islamic Forces Alliance (IFA).

He was issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the federal government to join as the head of the proposed Islamic Forces Alliance (IFA).

Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, while talking to media here on Friday, confirmed the news and said the NOC in favour of Gen (retd) Raheel was issued a couple of days ago.

“The NOC was issued in his favour after complying with all the codal formalities,” he said.

Responding to a query, he said Gen (retd) Raheel had already left the country for Saudi Arabia to assume the charge as the chief of IFA.

According to reports, preparation for departure of 5,000 Pakistanis for Saudi Arabia has also started.

Gen Raheel served the Pakistan Army as Chief of the Army Staff till November 2016 and earned accolades especially for taking the country out of the grip of terrorism during his three-year term.

His contributions to make the Pakistan Army a battle hardened force would be remembered for a long time.

Here discussing media reporting . Plus, have no much interest in Syria. More concern about Pakistan. Already facing too much extremism after Afghan war. Also shiaism has nothing to do with this regional scenario, nor anyone preaching shia sect.

Sir I have replied you 100 times This topic has nothing to do with Iran. But if you insist I will answer you. Is there a civil war in Yemen? Yes there is. Who started it Houthis. Who are houthis? Yemeni. Now who is helping who? Iran is helping Houthis? Yes they are there is no doubt in that. Saudis are bombing Houthis and civilians? Yes they are there is no doubt in that. Now your question is? Are Irani justified? No they are not. Why did Iran intervened? To save Syria. Iran wants a diversion to Keep Saudia indulged in a war and keep them focused over Yemen. Iran has done quite a good job in what Iran wanted to achieve. Saudia is stuck and Yemen and Syria are tit for Tat. Now you decide what is the solution. They both need to pull back Saudia from Syria and Iran from Yemen. Saudia cannot defeat Iran even with the GCC collation in Syria. Iran cannot defeat Saudia even with the Russian in Yemen. This all will continue for years to come.

As you admitted Iran supported houthe's in Yaman.So that mean Iran started the trouble in Yaman.Houthes r not civilians as they are armed by Iran.Donot you think Saudis have the right to defend themselves when Iran is making trouble for then in their neighbourhood.I suppose they have the right.Now regarding syria,Saudia should leave syria,and stop supporting proxies there as Iran is supporting proxies in yaman.Iran should also leave Syria as both of them are not "Mamay"of Syria.

Ur question if deeply analysed explains everything. 1) Iran denies any official involvement in Yemen. 2) The alliance is against terrorist groups not against Iran.

If Houtis are targeted then Iran should have no issue officially. (The ball is in Iran's court, whether they should officially keep themselves away from Yemen or officially consider helping Houtis).

The alliance is also against ISIS which I believe is not also favorable for Iran.

Every one knows hidden aspirations of Iran and consequent actions of KSA and other Arab countries.

Nothing is transparent so Pakistan has and should take decisions as per our own benefits rather than showing sorry attitude. On the other hand we should act as Pakistanis and Muslims first rather than Shia or Sunni.
