ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said today that government’s priority in ailing journalist Hamid Mir’s case is evident by the visit Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid to the Geo News anchor in hospital

Speaking to journalists at Pakistan China Friendship centre, he said that government is with civilian forces, opinionated people and not with the people of Ghulail (Pellet bow).

It must be remembered that the same minister on yesterday , refused to defend ISI chief in a talk show when asked about the suspicion shown by Hamid Mir’s brother Amir Mir.

Pakistan’s senior journalist Hamid Mir survived an assassination attempt and blamed ISI chief in his attack fearing letter.
