Proper definition of "bongian maarna".

"Interestingly, after delaying one project and giving up another for being imported fuel based, the PPIB in a recent meeting floated a 1,200MW project on imported liquefied natural gas. An official said that with a tight schedule for the proposed LNG based project, only a contractor that already has the plant available could meet deadline, unlike original manufacturers."

Very good decision as coal create environmental pollution. Govt should focus on gas, lpg, solar, wind and hydro power projects

very bad decision, even superpower like usa still relies about 65% on coal today
be realistic , cheapest after hydro is coal , we need cheap energy if we want to catch up with india

is it part of CPEC
I can say that at least one of them is.

This was expected, some sub-projects are going to fail, as a project the size of CPEC is far too large to not have some problems.

Good news is, things seem to be going far more smoothly in other areas, such as road expansion, and the expansion of the port in Gwadar. The first Chinese shipment has already been sent to Gwadar to start cargo operations.

All in all, the Chinese seem to be relatively satisfied with the pace of the various projects currently in construction (early harvest projects are being fast tracked), even if they have expressed concern and frustration with a few of the the coal and hydel projects. Their confidence is growing so much in the project that they've recently announced that they're going to be investing an extra $3 billion into Pakistan, and that's after they announced that they were expanding CPEC from a $46 billion dollar project to a $51 billion dollar project.

There are indications that by 2025, CPEC could very well be worth close to $100 billion.
