Going Pro with Fitness Goals

Just invested in these two bad boys to help me push the Cardio Limits
I already owned a Treadmill but was eager to get a Rower as it is more intense workout
And Bike is always fun.

Had been stuck in sitting Job and driving long hours morning/afternoon highway just wanted to get back to high fitness levels

Actively played soccer till 2014 sure would be awesome to push the limits again

Also have been impressed with Arnold's body building videos up on youtube great motivational videos Of course what Arnold did is lift weights for 3-5 hours daily most likely I will never reach this level but still good to start. Morning/Evening workouts

We converted a 60 sq m empty space in the basement of our home into a gym but the best results we got with outdoor activities..running, kayaking, triathlons.

.
I have a whole floor in basement converted to Gym
I bought machines every 1-2 years here and there

I have

>Treadmill (Not pro level) but you can do nice sprint on it
6mph to 12 mph range

>Bowflex

(Similar)

Thinking of going Serious 5 out of 7 days type setup

I am going to the gym since 2 weeks after almost 20 years of inactivity
I am going easy with the weights because I am no longer young and cant take liberties

using these every day

upload_2019-6-17_22-36-58.png

max setting 10 to 15 minutes 2 KM +

upload_2019-6-17_22-41-56.png

level 9/ 10 ave MET 8.7 to 10.5 for 25 minutes

I love the treadmill (being a runner in army my thighs and legs are strongest asset at 10.5 km /hr to 13 km/hr bursts for 20 minutes whenever I feel like it. but recent planter oficiitous (pain in the heal) is preventing me from impact exercises.

upload_2019-6-17_23-4-49.png

35 to 50 kg 6 reps x3 for all last one is reverse have to reduce weight (at 40kg now)

rest is side and front planking and reach ups holding breath for 10 seconds x 4 for 6 different exercises
main aim is losing weight
I might joi the hi intensity classes once I have gained some stamina but for past 3 weeks I have reduced about 5 kg of weight , aim is to reduce 20 kg which will be hard work. I have massed a lot around my body.

I hit the gym at 6 am in the morning go there by bike and then shower and ride back change and then to work x5 to 6 in a week.
I will need to continue for a year to have some realistic change / improvement in body composition

Waste of money. These classes help the trainer / gym get maximum monetary value and save time, there is no natural way a person can achieve miracles in one month, 20 day, two week classes ........ I have never been supportive of group classes, its better to have a personal dedicated trainer for an hour or two.

Anything and Everything free .... is halal in the world of fitness.

The best use of these machines in most homes (per my observation) is use as a towel hanger.
The best machine to exercise on are your limbs.

infantry training PACES for pak army

watch this squaddie and train like him, infantry men of certain far flung units ( not bogged with desk duties ) are some of the fittest chaps ive seen

you dont need a gym

strength + military workout is the new training regime for gyms in the west

.
:o: Well of course I don't have acres worth of land to run , plus I also have closet for hanging clothes.
It's really about motivation to get past the first 2 weeks of committing to change

This is similar to what I was thinking but mine would run after return from work
I love rowing as it pushes your lungs and cardio , works many muscles in body

And bike is just awesome ....flushes out large amount of water and burns tones of calories

My focus is weight loss and fat burn
And i have learnt that instead of steady pace i must have short bursts of fast reps and then back to steady pace
This act tricks the body and it burns fat instead of carbs

You are right i drip sweat when doing that bike for 20 to 30 mins
