"What do you say when Nawaz Sharif goes abroad?" he asked.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Interior Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik on Friday said that going abroad does not mean running away, adding that the PPP leadership has not left but it will ‘make others leave’.

“What do you say when Nawaz Sharif goes abroad?” he asked.

Talking to the media, Malik said Qaim Ali Shah is an elected chief minister of Sindh and that he is not being replaced.

He said anti-PPP groups are spreading rumours. He said PPP gave Pervez Musharraf respect when he was president, adding that PPP did not even register cases against Musharraf.

Rehman Malik said the army is a demonstration of Pakistan’s unity and that PPP salutes the martyrs who fought against terrorism.

Responding to a question about load shedding, he said production of electricity is federation’s responsibility and therefore it should be asked about it.

Earlier, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made emergency return to Karachi from Dubai and is expected to announce a new road map for the party, Dunya News reported.

Meanwhile, the key PPP leadership including co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur are still in Dubai.

According to details, PPP leaders’ travel to Dubai sparked a fresh round of rumours among the upset local leaders and workers; however, Bilawal announced the immediate return to keep workers’ spirits high.

The PPP had to take defensive stance after Asif Zardari’s aggressive speech. His iftar dinner could also not achieve the intended goal. The arrests of government officers and front men continued whereas some politicians and bureaucrats secured pre-arrest bails.

On one hand, preparations to contest local body elections in Punjab are underway and on the other hand the series of arrests in Karachi is on the peak but PPP seems to be in confusion amid the current situation.

Interesting stuff he brought up...

How production of electricity is Federation duty...If true why is it always trying to wash its hands from Karachi and thinking it did an enormous deed by putting our money on us (production of electricity) or even by helping KPK put electricity on OUR National grid- which IS their responsibility...Apni responsibility ada kernay kay liyea bhi taliyan cha hiyea? Are they circus clowns?

As for the pre-arrest bails...What is the use of announcing their corruption or proofs found against them when they have gained amnesty before even being charged??? SC is a BIG joke for granting them this crap! Allowing such crap pre arrest bails has shown how serious SC is about catching them in the 1st place :tsk:

Yea sure specially when a Pakistani political leader goes abroad you shouldn't say that hes running away at all. Akheilos do you like him in this picture though?

Wah what a logic. Technically since they used a plane to get out of the country, they never ran away because as well all know Zardari is too unfit to run few meters.

His hair looks like pubes

Don't insult pubic hairs please.
