If NS had the slightest interest in a military operation, why didn't he call off talks when the TTP beheaded 23 FC troops in February of this year? Did we really need five more months of dialogue with people who played football with the severed heads of our soldiers?

Just so you know. it was army decesion not to close dialog at that time and when things were getting crazy and TTP on one side doing dialogs and on the other attacking as well.. gov and army started the operation..

I don't believe that, because on his visit to the US Raheel Sharif stated that it was the sight of the TTP playing football with soldiers heads that made him want to finish them off.
Armies are trained to fight, and they do not spend years in difficult and harsh training just to decide "Hey, let's have a dialogue!" when people are killing them.

Pakistanis focus too much on personalities. Let's focus on issues. On this specific point, that NS should resign over his incompetence in dealing with terrorism by dialogue, Dr. Qadri is right. There is no need to attack his personality, and no need to discuss everything else he ever did. We can discuss the issue at hand.
