What's new

Global Firepower placed Pakistan as 10th most powerful country on earth - 2021 .

Iran is not the only country who got stronger all the neighbours got stronger and much advanced then Iran on paper as far as weaponry go and logistics. Turkey has space, UAE has space even on mars. You think only Iran made growth but the growth some of these countries made is far ahead of Iran. The same growth rate will continue in the next 20-30 years everyone will grow on the same pattern and modernize. The countries that has made most significiant growth is Turkey. The growth is exponentially across the board. China is growing at rapid pace and even India is growing and Pakistan is growing. It is across the board example Indonesia etc etc. Algeria, Vietnam all of these countries but mostly in the middle east the growth has been exponential.

Most of these countries have even their own 5th generation fighters production and making stealth technology domestically.

Turkey and UAE definitely do not have indigenous space capability. Using other countries to launch is the shortcut to put payloads into space but Iran is the only regional player that can indigenously put a payload into space without foreign help.

Using a launching place doesn't mean it is not indigenously made. They have their own space programs. It will land on mars here in febuary.

Turkey actully proved it's military hardware is effective and one of the best miliary producers and put it to test for the whole world to see. Main while Iran lost to Rebels in Syria.

I show you weapons here and there doesn't mean much but dose it work and can it bail you out. All of these Iranian drones and missiles were in action for Assad but still got overrun by lightly armed rebels

China doesn't reveal its thermonuclear count like Israel. Likely to have well over 1000 nukes

.
Afghanistan should be number 1, certainly above USA and Russia, then Vietnam number 2. List should be evidence based and outcomes based.
Yeah. İf you're only talking in the context of armed warfare. İt doesn't take into account asymmetrical capabilities, economic, democratic/diplomatic arm twisting etc etc. capabilities. There are several domains of a country's powers other than jang o jadal.

It's obvious could even have 2000 warheads at this point but also Israel and the other nuclear states are not either revealing their warheads numbers and the numbers they give out is vague at best same like China. Whereas I think Russia's numbers are inflated during the cold war for deterence purposes against the US

What he is saying is that when you cannot even launch your own satellites and have to pay foreigners to send them into space like you Persian Gulf arabs do, then do not talk about having a "space program". You have a "pay foreigners to build and launch our satellite" program.

Its military hardware that are heavily dependant on foreign components?

If you want to see a truly effective use of hardware, remember what happened to your Abqiaq due to Iranian UAVs that were not even comparable to its most advanced systems:

Main while Iran lost to Rebels in Syria.

Iran lost according to ISIS/Al Nusra sympathisers. Wake up and realise your beloved terrorists are barely anywhere in Syria today.

Show me these Iranian ballistic missiles that were in action in Syria.

but still got overrun by lightly armed rebels

You seem to be living in an alternate reality where Iran was in a full scale conflict with these terrorists and it was using ballistic missiles etc. The reality is, during most of the war, Iran played a mostly advisory role. Most of the job was done by SAA and other allied arab groups.

Iran lost to the rebels end of story. Solemani went to Moscow and begged for help selling out the energy rights of syria to Russia that is the price they had to pay. That is how it went down. Assad was overrun despite 200.000 Iranians with everything they had. You keep claming something I can do with homemade Drone with a gas station and you never took responsibility. The Rebels hold 10-15% of Syria and have their own government.

But all in all the most crucial thing is that we have seen you in action and your weapons and missiles couldn't alter reality against none-state actors.

BEIRUT (Reuters) 2015 - At a meeting in Moscow in July, a top Iranian general unfurled a map of Syria to explain to his Russian hosts how a series of defeats for President Bashar al-Assad could be turned into victory - with Russia’s help.

“Soleimani put the map of Syria on the table. The Russians were very alarmed, and felt matters were in steep decline and that there were real dangers to the regime.

Khamenei also sent a senior envoy to Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin, another senior regional official said. “Putin told him ‘Okay we will intervene. Send Qassem Soleimani’. He went to explain the map of the theater.”

Technology you don't even have leverage over none-state actors because what you have is junk

You are too much in love with Iran and don't want to look into Iran's weaknesses which are also a lot. Iran's air force is far weaker than UAE, Saudia, Turkey and Egypt. Actually there is no comparison. Iran's army isn't also great. The same goes with Iran's navy. This is why Iran relies on proxies and rhetoric against its enemies.

UAV, missiles/rockets can damage the enemy but they alone are not enough to conquer the enemy. This is not Azerbaijan vs Armenia.

If this is the quality of so called Think-Tanks publishing such garbage stuff. then God help us all. :omghaha:

LMAOOOOO what bullshitt? Stop post globalfirepower rankings here. They are sh*t...

Pakistan and india are not in top 10. Turkey, Israel, and even Saudi Arabia is more deserving of top ten most powerful states than us. These states can exercise actual influence in international system in various ways...much more so than Pakistan (let alone india lol)

Until we took it back. India was dominating narrative war.Keep in mind the recent entangled web of Indian disinfo that was revealed. So you cannot completely disregard India's ability to exert influence in that sphere. It should be taken seriously, it should be taken as a threat and very serious, diligent and painstaking work needs to be done to counter it. Even if we invest 1 billion in a an Al Jazeera or TRT like channel and actually have a good ministry of Foreign Affairs where the babus actually do some work other than chatting goris and smoking cigars. And unconventional means like Indians did with fake websites and media channels.

We don't have to stoop to that level but we can get creative with it. Media/narrative war is very important. One glimmer of hope is ISPR. Maybe ISPR can form a public private partnership to start a commercial channel.

Yes, now we at least have our leaders speaking Pakistan millet/state's tongue on world stage. Before likes of Nawaz, Zardari and Hussain Haqqani(man I'd love to see that traitor's head roasted on a platter and hanged on main gate of GHQ or Abpara) had become All India Radio.

This helps of course. But we need to take the media/narrative warfare to the next level.
Same goes with our clandestine operations in Afghanistan against Indian consulates and TTP that is scattered in Eastern and North Eastern Afghan provinces, if Pakistan state waits for peace to come in Afghanistan and then carry out such missions then that could be problematic because then TTP and other state enemies will just morph into a different kind of threat a la PTM in Afghanistan(but that is a topic for another thread).
