German Offical charged with Spying Sikhs for India

BERLIN: A German immigration official has been arrested and charged with espionage for an Indian secret service for allegedly spying on members of the Sikh religion, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The 58-year-old German national, identified only by the initials T.S.P., was accused of "espionage activity and violation of professional secrecy rules in 45 cases," they said in a statement.

Working at an immigration office in the western town of Ostwestfalen, he accessed databases to pass on information on suspected extremist and opposition members of the religious group, said federal prosecutors.

He was detained in the town in North Rhine-Westphalia state on February 17 and has been in custody since.

Federal prosecutor filed their indictment on September 7 at the state security division of the Superior Court in Berlin, but only released their statement almost two weeks later, on Tuesday.

Spying for a foreign power carries up to 10 years' jail under German law.

thats a serious miscalculation because I know there are hundreds thousands back in India...because there are hundreds here in Saudi working...I even know some Pro-Khalastani Sikhs working in Indian army...found them on Facebook...so beware Sikhs can be double edge sword..most of the Sikhs go to army for their tradition..not necessary to serve mama India...

we also arrested a hindu spy couple of days back. So we dont trust hindus either.

Have a funny feeling that Khalistan movement revival is just around the corner.

News are "leaked" at the right time for a purpose.

I have said this before, once we normalize our western flanks, our attention will move to east. Kashmir is just the starting point. Modi and his Hindu terrorists goons are falling right into plans of Pakistani establishment. By openly mentioning Baluchistan, which is a sovereign Pakistani territory, they have given Pakistan jail breakout card. Now whole India would be playing field for Pakistani secret services. They are talking about giving asylum to one Barhamdagh Bugti, there will be hundreds of Khalsa who would be more then happy to do same with Pakistan. After all, their Mecca is in Pakistan.
