No, it won't be that dramatic, since Europe will simply import the other fertilizer, diesel, etc from Russia instead.It has nothing to do with the wages. No gas means no industry, no productive agriculture, no heating, no anything. What's the use of high wages if there is no job where you can get them?
The only thing that Europe is not going to import from Russia is natural gas.
The increase in the cost of energy will simply either be offset with lower wages or deindustrialization, one or the other.
