Pakistan Defence
As political Parties are gearing up for coming G. elections and engaging and planning with their respective political campaigns, so are their followers too, lets have a discussion thread on the politics and prospects of any party or its candidates to the very constituency level spread around throughout Pakistan to precise.
The Idea is every member contributes by informing us his/her own constituency assessment where he actually lives or knows about any other around Pakistan with precise details from other sources as well. The assessment should be based on ones observation about overall trend in that particular constituency, candidates common repute, rivalry or any other important factor i.e Baradary, Clan, party popularity etc.
Its a request to all members that they should need to avoid or repeat their respective party rhetoric here unnecessarily instead rather emphasize on pure facts on the grounds with bipartisan analysis as close as possible. Difference of opinion of any analysis stated, can also be shared on the same lines.
Some parties didnt finalize their true candidates but their respective strong electable are present well known widely in almost every constituency nonetheless, We never be 100% in our analysis but lets at least tries to nears it with sincerity.

I will start with my constituency in which currently i'm residing and that is NA-128 here below.
Overview of Previous Elections in NA-128 :
2002 Election Result
1. Zahee Abbas Khokhar (PPP) = 31175
2. Sardar Kamil Umar (PMLN) = 29682
3. Wazeer Bhatti (PMLQ) = 26652
4. Dr. Abdul Wahab (PTI) = 2445
2008 Election Result
1. Malik Afzal Khokhar (PMLN) = 65727
2. Malik Karamat Khokhar (PPP) = 37608
3. Sardar Aqil Umar (PMLQ) = 18252
4. Zaheer Abbas Khokhar (IND) = 257
The constituecy starts from Chungi Mansoorah-Thokar-new housing societies till Wapda Town.
The frontrunner in this constituancy is no doubt PMLN's Afzal Khokar who is also holding the seat currently. He is the most junior from all the kokhars runs here since 2002 on NA seat.
PPP here just reduce to nothing over the years as both of its candidate the winner of 2002 and the runner up of 2008 are now move into PTI recently, These are Malik Zahee Abbas Khokhar and Malik Karamat Khokhar respectively, both are relatives to each other as Malik Karamat is the uncle of Zaheer. PTI will award ticket someone in between these two candidate most probably, as the seat is somewhat bradary based, although new societies tend to cast thier votes on loyalty as well as other basis.
One thing is notable that all the "Khokhars" weather belongs to PMLNs, PTI or PPP have same reputation in the constituancy as none have possess any kind of moral high ground upon other, therefore the matter here is not what they actually do but who have done anything better for the constituency and posses more influence in govt circles, No doubt being a current member and with helping hand of Punjab govt the Afzals of PMLNs have upper hand.
There are also a considerable influence of Jamat-e-Islami in this constituancy as there HQ Mansoorah comes under it. In fact, Last time in by election of PP-160 in mid 2010, there took place one to one contest between PMLN and PTI and PMLNs candidater wins with almost 10K votes lead, JI candidate took 7-8K votes as well. Therefore if somehow PTI would go into an alliance with JI she might take her chances of win here to something competitive.
One thing more there is also a considerable influence of Sardar Adil Umar and Kamil Umar of PMLQ, there votes eventual turning over in any party's favor will brighten up her chances as well, although their own chances of win are poorly dim.
