Gen Mahmood reaches China to witness V-Day parade
BEIJING – Joint Chief of Staff Committee (JCSC) Chairman General Rashad Mahmood on Tuesday reached China to witness the military parade being held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of victory in China’s War of Resistance.
A contingent of defence forces of Pakistan is also visiting the friendly country to participate in the military parade being organised for the first time. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s armed forces contingent comprising 75 personnel from tri-service (army, navy and air force) is already in China to participate in the parade.
The contingent of Pakistan is the largest among 17 nations who have been invited to participate to commemorate the historic event.
