KARACHI - Notorious gangster Uzair Baloch is reportedly in the custody of intelligence agencies in Peshawar, a private news channel reported citing sources.
The news channel quoted sources as saying that Uzair Baloch was currently held under custody at a triple-story building in Peshawar. According to the news channel, a video statement of Uzair had also been recorded, in which Baloch confessed to have killed two witnesses of the Benazir Bhutto murder case; one namely Khalid Shehensha.
Apart from this, he also confessed his involvement in money-laundering, racketeering, land grabbing and other crimes. Uzair Baloch reportedly named two ministers from whom he used to take directives.
It said the confessional statement comprises a 48-minute video, which has been forwarded to interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar. Quoting sources, the news channel said the Sindh government did not wanted Uzair to be deported to Pakistan, but an intelligence agency made it possible.
