if you want seriously to compare russians and french tech they will lose by a large margin , have a look at the russians jet engines especially in the new Mig's and the disgusting black smoke following it and compare the air to ground bombs and look how far European are more advanced this is just a tiny example in air field , in navy look at the Fremm and see when it was developed and it's tech and compare it with the old russian ships from the 70's and 80's era tech , russia need a serious tech jump still badass though

AL-41 is a whole step above AL-31. 40,000 lb of power compared to 27,000 lb, 3D vectoring.

That's flawed way of counting. The American way of counting is wrong. It should be based on material wealth. Otherwise, it'll only be inflation inflating the total GDP which means nada.

For example, Ukraine received 20 billion dollars for free, sure it inflated the total GDP, but prices have gone up just the same. So the American way of counting economy is not correct.
