France launches first air strikes on IS in Iraq

good so its another refale advertisement plan ? am i right ?
You must be, since there are no advertisements of what sort of American jets are used in Iraq!
The timing too is suspicious, just before Iraqi pilots finish their training on the F-16s, and the delivery of these. I think Iraq could have done it on its own hadn't been for this well timed surge of ISIS, just before Iraq's air force is fully prepared and functional. What are the commonalities between Libya and Iraq if not OIL!? France hopes to sell its Rafales, which is a legitimate hope, but advertising live, by first creating terrorists overthrowing governments and showing off its might with no other contenders in the sky is a bit farfetched or 'farfelue" like they say in French.

Only infidels who refuse to see the light and hear the Word get this punishment from Allah. Allah is tolerant to all except those who oppose Him.

Many Shia Iraqi soldiers have converted to the true Islam and donated their M1 tanks to Islamic State.
:o: - Except?

France will do no more. no boots, no hitting on soldier convoys and stuff...just blow up ammo depots. make sure the word rafale is heard.

yupp !! an advertisement for us, indians. :) glad we could provide an excuse for the death of soome jihadi scum. we should provide coordinates for air strike for our boys there.

A photo provided by the French Army on September 19, 2014, shows a pilot navigating his Rafale fighter jet for a mid-air refuelling en route to Iraq.

France is conducting operations in Iraq from French Air Base 104 inside the vast Al Dhafra base near Abu Dhabi. French jets began flying reconnaissance missions over Iraq on Monday.

The base, home to about 700 French service personnel and six Rafales, is 1,700km from Mosul, meaning that the planes need midair refuelling to strike in Iraq.

France could also mobilise its only aircraft carrier, the Charles de Gaulle, which is now docked in southeastern France and would need at least five days to reach the eastern Mediterranean. The ship can carry about 30 planes including Rafales, Super-Etendards and U.S-built E-2C Hawkeye surveillance aircraft.

why france choose to get involved with this mess?

France wants to show they are also a world power.lool
They are tired of bombing only their former African colonies(which is basically the only continent France still has much influence/control). So at least its good to join Daddy U.S in bombing unstable middle eastern countries as we have been doing before.:D
VIVE LA FRANCE.:bunny:
