They are both nato countries... thats my point ....if weapons cross nato border hence direct intervention and an act of war. I just dont see anyone being mad enough to do it. Can not see weapons being airlifted in via third parties without russians shooting it down.

Interesting choice of words. I remember seeing a certain research group from France who would criticize Germany for not buying french nuclear power equipment. They were also working with Indians on economic warfare against Pakistan, and sent french engineers to Delhi to participate in newly created indian defence startups (one was working on situational awareness for MBTs).

The only mistake Russia made is that they have gone slow to avoid civilian casualty. This has give a window of opportunity to NATO to supply Ukraine with a lot of weapons which could enable an insurgency in the future. Russia should have gone with full might, captured Ukraine very quickly and seal the borders on the west so no weapon can come in.

Even The old Tow missiles are enough for T72 , T80 And T90s , the problem is that there is no men to gun the Anti Tank missiles ...
Anti Tank missiles are not decisive against a full Tank Battalion which are covering each other and have good environment awareness ...

You be surprised what this type of weapon can do. Its pretty much like the Spike loitering munition. Shoot a missile in the coordinates where the enemy is, the enemy can't see you because you fired from behind a hill or homes or somewhere behind cover.

Notice, extremely low launch signature for such a large missile.

All SACLOS launchers have a downside is that if the operator panics, the missile loses guidance. Full F&F missiles fully worth their cost.



The thing with TOWs is that they are heavy ATGMs. Only somewhat man-portable.

Good thing about that is them still outranging modern 120mm guns, which is a great psychological weapon.

Imagine a future Javelin missile with this added capability. A Javelin NLOS (None line of sight) that can fire and hit targets without having to see your enemy.

Agreed. And perhaps Russia should also consider French, British and other NATO members' military individuals and units as targets for action because NATO is directly causing the deaths and injuries of Russian citizens by arming the UkroNazis. After all, Hollywood has celebrated films where Israelis have gone to great lengths to kill or arrest its opponents so why can't Russia do the same ?
