Qatar was the MB main power base, before it was Egypt before the coup, and MB was spreading itself in Egypt, Syria, Libya, Qatar, Sudan and Tunisia.
Saudi Arabia managed to completely destroy the MB in all of these countries, only pockets of them remain in Libya and Syria. All these other countries however are no pro-Saudi arabia. Saudi Arabia managed to consolidate temendous power while iran and the world were too busy in Syria and Iraq.
Even Lebanon is realizing that the balance of power shifted heavily to the Saudi side and is allying with Saudi arabia and ditching Iran, Iraqi president made 3 visits in two months to Saudi arabia, clearly pondering ditching Iran for Saudi arabia. Sidani president came to Saudi arabia last month, and at the same time ditched all Iranian ties.
The entire world has gotten tunnel vision including Iranian leadership it seems, while saudi arabia was busy consolidating power.
Iraq is a Arab country but it will remain close to Iran due to Shi'ism. A visit here and there wont change any reality. If i was Saudi i would worry about ISIS, i heard they consider the Saudi kingdom as ''taghout''.
Status quo between Iran and Saudi will remain for a long time like this unless some something big happens (positive) which i doubt. Hatred between us.... literally kills people in the region.
