Formula One - Malaysian GP 2014

. .

Thank god FIA finally realised that the sport is slowly loosing it's charm.... but when are they planning to add refuelling? 2016?

I am not so optimistic, all I am seeing from die-hard F1 fans is despair at this news and these guys know what they are talking about. According to them this won't make anything any better and could, in fact, lead to less overtaking and more processional race.

Err in exam mode since March, I can recall having seen it but don't really remember the events of the race specifically. :P
You don't remember Raikkonen's last stint on the Softs? One more lap and Hamilton would be done.

You people didn't see Bahrain? That was awesome.
Bahrain 2014 was incredible, Bahrain 2015 not so much. Between Seb making amateur mistakes and gifting Rosberg position and Kimi being on a superior strategy to Seb I didn't see that much to get excited about.

I don't think so. Hamilton said he was managing the pace at the end, if Kimi had gotten closer Lewis would have sped up, he had a lot of time in the bag, P1 was never on the table for Kimi.

Well I'm not so much in favor of free tyre choice or even making car 5-6 seconds faster but yes, the prospect of reintroduction of refueling has me excited.

Ah now I remember it, did the race conclude with a SC? :D

Kimi had an inferior strategy than Vettel. He was simply way faster
Kimi was able to match Hamilton in
  • First stint on the same tyre before he got stuck behind Vettel
  • Middle stint - despite the fact that he was on Prime tyres, infact he was catching up with Vettel, also on options

In the last stint he was blazing through on the faster sets. And don't forget the Brake failures suffered by the Mercs
