For Pakistan: War drums just got louder at Yemen-Saudi border

KSA is the homeland of the Arabic language, of Islam, of Prophet Muhammad (saws) and countless of Prophets before him, of the Ahl al-Bayt, of the Sahaba, of the most eminent Muslim dynasties and some of the most eminent Muslim warriors, the ancestral homeland of most Arabs, the land of Makkah and Madinah, a revered land whose territory gave rise to dozens of Islamic Caliphates, kingdoms, sultanates, emirates, imamates, sheikdoms on 3 continents. The land which gave rise to many pre-Islamic Semitic civilizations as well.

What are you blabbering about Farsi troll? Egypt is our neighbor. Us Hijazis consider Egyptians alongside people of nearby Sham and Yemen to be our blood relatives and brothers on all fronts. We are 1 people. Our cuisine is almost identical, we share millennium old Semitic history(pre-Islamic and Islamic), millions of us have Egyptian ancestry and vise versa, our dialects are almost identical, geographic proximity, history etc. The list is enormous.

Indeed many Arabs including many local Saudi Arabians are against the House of Saud (regime) and Arab regimes in general but that has nothing to do with the land, it's history and the people.

I am not a fan of many Arab regimes but I would never Arab country x or y due to that or their people. Blasphemy!

Don't you, a hostile anti-Arab farsi, dare to write such bullshit again while there are Saudi Arabians and Egyptians on PDF and on this planet.

So many Prophets .. So much Islam .. Yet look where you guys are today? Your citizens spreading "their own brand of Islam" by finding terrorism in other countries .. Same ones for Iran .

You both "muslim" nations should go to war with eachother instead of creating proxies and battlefields in other countries .. Let the Syrians,Bahrainians,Iraqis,Pakistanis and other live in peace and sort out their own shit.

Then I expect King Suleiman and other GCC leaders to give Pak an observer status at AL (which they didn't - meanwhile india is).. And also support Kashmir cause ?? (Funny even Yasir Arafat whom we supported never uttered a word on Kashmir?).

And also stop their princes n other ... Who break law and poach extinct animals and birds ?

And these are just the basic things!

If someone still supports fighting their wars .. I'd personally ask him to book a ticket to KSA or Yemen and fight for his homies instead of telling us what to do !

TC.

Wroora ghor Sara khabara wowra, these internet Arab wannabe are just internet warriors nothing more then that, they don't have the balls to fight, trust me I been involved in skirmishes when you got someone shooting back at you it makes you think, oh my god am gonna die and if so for what?.

I didn't mind dying the fear was overtaken by loyalty and love for Pakistan.

These fools wouldn't go in first place and if they did then they wouldn't last a minute against houtis who are determined, courageous and Hungary, when a man has nothing to loose you don't wanna face him.

Very well said. I agree Salman has begun an initiative which made Arabs raise their head high but it's losing momentum because other Arab governments don't want to heed it. This is because they don't know what will follow or how they will deal with it. Jordan for example, is already in a scary situation. It's took refugees from Iraq and now Syria. This helped its estate business. But it's putting more responsibilities on Jordan which at this moment is all humanitarian. Now if Jordan embraces Saudi view in Syria for example. This may force Jordan into political and military responsibilities. Which scares it, because it will result in instability which no one will gain from except militants. And after what our populations saw in Syria, they're very afraid of any kind of war and what it could bring. This is why they don't want to accept initiative. They'd rather be safe than sorry.

Now this is a problem because it limits us in every way. Besides the members of non state actors. Our people are too afraid. Not just ours but everyone else, Iranian as well. They don't want to see war. Iran doesn't mind sponsoring Arabs to fight other Arabs its people fear direct war. For us arabs, not sure if it's lack or faith, it's that and other factors. We really don't want to go through a difficult situation again but sometimes sacrifices have to be made. And restoration of faith is needed.

Sadly I don't know where we are heading, I believe Salman realizes we are very late and is trying very quickly to turn things around but I believe he will fail. Because other Arabs don't want to man up. And this will mean further chaos instability. With more non state actors, and maybe they will control the region. Let's sit back and see what they can do because sadly they're only alternative at this moment.

Which is understandable because so many Arab countries are either in conflict or just next to the conflict zones. Everyone should look to fix their own house first before helping even brothers and sisters. This is why it is so crucial to get all Arab countries onboard to fix OUR very own problems. If that will not be done then we will be in this state for a long time.

KSA and the GCC has a 2 trillion dollar GDP (nominal), peace, political support and the military hardware to do what they are doing so they are taking the lead. They MUST do that because if they don't do it nobody will do it and that is even more dangerous because that will create more anarchy.

I agree. Faith is crucial.

Sadly that might very well be the case but Salman or not then something must be done and before the people by large do not realize it there won't be changes. The right changes will occur at one point (the law of nature) but the question will be at what cost and how long we must wait?

I really believe that the very large Arab diaspora has a crucial role to play as we can look at those conflicts and the good and bad from another perspective. People that live and die in such an environment don't know any better.

Y
As I said before would you go and put out fire in your neighbours bathroom (which he himself started) when your own house is on fire ?

Thankfully we have put down most of the biig fires. Some small ones remain.

And in the process we gained huge amount of experience as to how to deal with such fires.

And hence we can now go help neighbors too.

This is irreverent in this context. All I wrote are historical facts though. This Arab-obsessed Farsi's claim was complete and utter nonsense from start to beginning like everything else he writes about the Arab world.

Which "own brand of Islam"? People in KSA follow Islam. I don't consider terrorists to be following Islam if that is what you are alluding to here.

Syrians, Bahrainis, Iraqis etc. are fellow Arabs and are all by large against the demonic fake wannabe-Arab Mullah's of Iran and their poison which they have been obsessed about spreading since 1979. We are on the same boat regardless of sect, religion or nationality. This is getting increasingly clear for each day.

I just asked the Farsis here why they are only good at sponsoring Shia Arab groups that chaos trouble instead of attacking their enemies (Sunni Muslim Arabs)? We know that this would be their ending if they did so they don't.

Not really here is a Sunni hanafi who holds as much love for them as judas did for Jesus.

You are a well-known anti-Arab and a stateless Pashtun. Your opinion is irrelevant for Arabs. We don't care what you are blabbering about. Mind your own business and don't talk in the name of Arabs.

Brothers from the same mother go different way, especially if one is a hard working engineer and the other one is a drug addict.

Same thing among countries. Arab country will not simply form an alliance with another country.

They got to be working on the same goals. Otherwise alliances are useless. Just like Arab League and OIC are useless pathetic bunch, because they all do not share the same vision.

Sure, sure .. But can't the neighbour which spends more money on its defence budget than your defence, health, education etx combined do it herself ?

The neighbour which in reality doesn't even support you on strategic issues like IOK or terror funding in your country ?

Are the lives of Pakistani soldiers so damn cheap ?

after reading the thread It's mind blowing to see how many Pakistanis want their
fellow country men become cannon fodder for KSA Expansionism and their aggression
against the poorest Arab country.

Have you guys ever asked yourself why KSA itself wont do the dirty work ?
after all they are boasting of creating 4 of the largest empire in history , they
claim they destroyed the ottoman empire. their army 1000 time stronger than
Yemen and so and so and so ......

Without going into further details .. Il give you an example of hypocrisy ?

Bahrain (shia majority ruled by Sunni/wahabi monarchs)...'Iran tries to ignite a fire ? You protect your sunny monarch buddy.

Yemen (in 62 - you supported the zaidi monarch and their supporters) today the same guys are your enemies and irans frnds.

You are basically firing guns from others shoulders .

If you guys are so brave and all why not go to war ? No appetite for that I guess!

Has the ground war started.......have their been any Saudi causalities. ???
But Pakistan has been at war for several years now.....forget Saudi troops, did they even send say a few ambulances.
So let us not be the saviours of others when we have our own worries to address.
The Saudis could do well with sending us some of their gunships which are probably just gathering dust.

Hi,

It is correct that we don't see Saudi troops and material helping us on the ground in the Pakistan----. But their money is available to Pakistan. But the problem with money is that it is not visible----.

Saudis should have acted pro-active---. They should have deployed a regiment or two strength of Saudi troops in the arena--ambulances as you stated and other paraphernalia---public sentiment would have been with the Saudis---and their troops would have been ready to counter the threat in their own region.

But---just because we don't see their active participation---does not mean that we should not step in.

How easy is it to break a relationship----just like that--- like a snap of the twig----how difficult is to build it----?????

Stop equaling the House of Saud or the Arab ruling families with the 450 million or so Arabs will you?
Most Saudi Arabians and Arabs do not want outside participation in Yemen or anywhere else in the Arab world. They want their own leaders to deal with internal Arab issues as they are perfectly capable of doing just that but they want the easier way out. Which we Arabs are angry about as this same mentality is causing us damage on other fronts and have been for ages.

The few newspapers that have "cried" about Pakistan's lack of involvement (which all of PDF has cried about for weeks) and those 2-3 authors do not speak for all 450 million Arabs (lol). This should be evident. Besides those newspapers are controlled by regimes and those authors write what they are told.

Yes, KSA, GCC and the Arab world never did anything for Pakistan and we are the root for all problems while Iran is an innocent lamb and Pakistanis are not at fault at all.

Last time I checked Pakistan is supposed to be an independent nation. Your leaders were apparently elected by your people (unlike many Arab regimes) so they should be doing what their people demand. The average Arab has absolutely nothing to do with what is going on in Pakistan.

Like Iranians sending troops in Iraq against ISIS, Pakistan can also play a role to stabilize a war torn country.
