Muslims in Assam are now safe. There were many camps that helped Muslims get the required documents by all necessary means. Hindus did not care much - were complacent.

They will have to go back to BD or stay in detention camps. Just because they are Hindus does not mean they can live as Indians.

In 2001 there were a poll where 76% hindus stated the reason for their migration was economic.
In Bangladesh you will not find a single Hindu beggar, rickshaw puller even a day laborer. Where did these poor Hindu go? The only hindus remained in Bangladesh are from middle class.

And it will be very hard for India to deport them as they already sold all their belongings in Bangladesh and permanently moved to India. They are not like any seasonal Bangladeshi laborer found in Delhi or Mumbai who have their family back home.
